The St. Francis Borgia Religious Education Program is accepting registrations for the 2018-2019 school year. Register in the Religious Ed Office Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. or register in the back of the Church on Sundays. Classes will meet weekly during the school year beginning Tuesday, September 11, 2018. ALL Grades will meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.New registrants must provide a Baptismal Certificate at the time of registration. Call the Religious Education Office with any questions (773) 625-1705. The St. Francis Borgia Religious Education Program invites you to share your time and talent by serving as a catechist to help spread the word of Christ to the children and families in our parish community. We are looking for volunteers to serve in our Religious Education Program as a Catechist for the 2018-2019 school year. In the Gospel, Jesus said, “Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Mt. 28: 19). By serving as a Catechist, you will have the opportunity to respond to this call of Christ by helping our children and youth learn and grow in faith as they come to encounter Christ in their lives. All that is needed is a willingness to spend time with our children and youth. By answering the call to serve Jesus, you will come to experience immense joy and blessings as you share His Good News with others. Matka Boża Ludźmierska, Królowa wysłuchanych modlitw... Ludźmierskie Sanktuarium to szczególnie ważne miejsce dla Górali, którzy ogłosili Matkę Bożą Gaździną Podhala. Pielgrzymują do niej ludzie nie tylko z południa Polski, ale również z USA i Kanady. Pokój ludziom – takie znaczenie ma starosłowiańskie słowo Ludomir, od którego swoją nazwę wzięła miejscowość Ludźmierz. Trudno o bardziej adekwatny źródłosłów. To miejsce, a raczej jego niezwykła Mieszkanka, przynosi ludziom pokój i ukojenie w trudnych chwilach. Tu rzeczywiście dzieją się cuda. Ludzie doznają uzdrowień, wychodzą z małżeńskich kryzysów, porzucają niszczące nałogi. Najważniejszym cudem jest jednak żywa i bezgraniczna wiara pielgrzymów, którzy przybywają do tego miejsca. Opisy uzdrowień są świadectwem prawdziwej, głębokiej wiary ludzi. Potrafili oni, często w dramatycznych sytuacjach, powierzyć Matce Bożej siebie i najbliższych i zostali wysłuchani.
