Christ Child 2020 Christ Child 2020 Hi everyone, Merry Christmas! The gift distribution went well and by now the children are enjoying the efforts you all took to get their perfect gifts. This ministry is a feel good ministry, for sure. The families expressed such gratitude and appreciation, which I'm passing on to you, St. Martin's parishioners. Parishioner Vinnie Cresho gifted several children with bicycles in memory of her husband Ronald Gardinski. I can remember my own children waking up Christmas morning to a new bike! That was special indeed. There was such a generous outpouring of donations, that in addition to the gifts, St. Martins was able to provide a ham dinner to each family. We packed up a brown grocery bag with a ham, potatoes, yams, and vegetables, topped it with a bow and a Merry Christmas too! Also inside were candy goodie bags for the children. The extra funds will go to the food pantry. Many of the families that participated in the Christ Child use our food pantry too. I want to thank Veronica and Jamie, food pantry volunteers for their responsible and good work in handing out and collecting the forms for Christ Child 2020. Thank you Fr. Scott Adams for allowing St. Martins to continue the long and successful tradition of gifting our community brothers and sisters during this absolutely beautiful and blessed Christmas season. Peace, Love, Hope and Merry Christmas to all!
