                                            About Our Theme
This year’s annual report and meeting theme were s inspired by the image on our cover,
created by Drew Robinson, in honor of his father David Robinson.

“Pulling out all the stops” comes from organ-playing, where it means "bring into play every
rank of pipes," thereby creating the fullest possible sound.

For our purposes, the expression means using all the resources at hand. NAMI Franklin
County pulled out all the stops to make sure people have access to the services they need!

Thank you to our Legendary Achievers for pulling out all the stops! Thank you for being
champions and advocates...for being teachers and guiding lights. We are especially grateful
for your capacity to turn wounded places into windows.
Pulling Out All the Stops - Celebrating the Legendary Lives of Our Friends: David Franklin Robinson Charlotte Bell & Dr. Frederick J. Frese, III ...
NAMI Franklin County extends a very special welcome to this

stops,” our guest speakers have done so in such dynamic ways.

Western Reserve Psychiatric Hospital from 1980 to 1995. As a fierce advocate for the
rights and dignity of the mentally ill, Fred delivered over 2,000 presentations locally,
                          nationally, and internationally.

Dr. Frese was a panelist on PBS’s MINDS ON THE EDGE: Facing Mental Illness, which

mental illness. He founded and served on local and national mental health advocacy
