SCHOOL NEWS ... Open registration for St. Francis Borgia School for the 2018-2019 school year is ongoing. We offer: - 3-Year Old Pre-School - Five Days - Monday- Friday Half Day - 7:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Full Day - 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - 4-Year Old Pre-Kindergarten - Five Days - Monday through Friday Half Day - 7:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Full Day - 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Full Day Kindergarten Monday through Friday - 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Grades 1 through 8 7:45 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Extended Day Program (EDP) (offered on all days school is in session; this program is tax deductible) 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please stop by the school office (3535 North Panama) on any regular school day to register your child/ren. Please bring an original birth certificate (including birth number) and baptismal certificate. Copies of your documents will be made in the school office. A non- refundable $100.00 registration fee and non-refundable $100.00 tuition deposit are due at the time of registration. If you have any questions, please call the school at 773-589-1000. Father Lojek has generously offered a $500 tuition credit to any family that recruits a new family to register and stays for the new school year. Mother’s Day Mother’s Day Special Envelopes are available at the back of the church. Prayer is a beautiful gift and a way to remember our mothers, living and deceased. Envelopes can be dropped into the collection basket or to the rectory. We will pray for our Mothers on May 13, 2018, during all Holy Masses and during the whole month of May. Borgia Café-Acts-The Spread of the Kingdom The St. Francis Borgia Religious Education Department will be hosting the Borgia CA.F.E.-Catholic Adult Faith Education series-Tuesdays, May 8, 15, 22 & 29 at 7:00 p.m. in the Religious Education Center located in Schoolroom 101. We will continue our study of Acts of the Apostles-The Spread of the Kingdom, by Jeff Cavins from The Great Adventure Bible series. The series explores the Biblical narrative in light of Catholic teaching and the historical, cultural and literary context of the Scriptures to discover God’s plan and our place within it. Na kopercie należy wypisać imię i nazwisko Matki żyjącej lub zmarłej i wrzucić do koszyka z kolektą lub przynieść do biura parafialnego. Na wszystkich Mszach Świętych w niedzielę, 13 maja oraz przez cały miesiąc maj będziemy modlić się w intencjach Matek, które zostały przez Was polecone. Nabożeństwa Majowe Maj to miesiąc w sposób szczególny poświęcony Matce Bożej. Jako Polacy mamy szczególne zobowiązanie do oddawania czci Maryji, dlatego zachęcamy wszystkich do licznego udziału w Nabożeństwach Majowych odprawianych w naszym Kościele w poniedziałki, środy i piątki o godz. 7:00 wieczorem. Zachęcamy także do podtrzymania zwyczaju śpiewania litanii loretańskiej i pieśni Maryjnych przy figurze Matki Bożej przed Kościołem we wtorki, czwartki i soboty o godzinie 7:00 wieczorem.
