Youth Sports and Fitness Pasta Dinner in support of The George Washington Masonic National Memorial The George Washington Masonic National Memorial stands as the most distinguished monument to Washington ever built by a private organization. Erected in the 1920s and 30s, it soars 333 feet as a beacon of Light and knowledge, educating and inspiring all who visit it. Recognized in 2015 as a National Historic Landmark, the Memorial is one of the most impressive and iconic buildings in the area around our nation’s capital. Our new fundraising endeavor, The Landmark Century Campaign, aims to support a thorough restoration of the Memorial. And you can help. The Pandemic shut down operations for over a year and, without the revenue from visitors and rentals, funds became scarce. Like clockwork the Masonic community went into action to assist and help preserve this cherished landmark. It was decided that the State of Connecticut Masons would conduct a Statewide Community Pasta Dinner in support of the monument on September 23, 2022 from 5:30 pm to 8:00 PM. Sequin-Level Lodge #140 will start serving at 5:30 sharp, and people will be seated throughout the evening as space permits. The entire dinner is homemade and menu is as follows: Pasta and fresh sauce, meatballs, sweet sausage, salad with dressing, fresh local Bread, desert and water/iced tea. Bring your family and friends, enjoy a wholesome meal at a great price and feel great knowing you assisted in saving a National Treasure for decades to come. Cost for this event is $25 per couple, $15 per single and $10 for children 11 and older.
