PROGRAM INFORMATION In order to accommodate the busy schedules of our families, our After-School program is a “build-your-own” program. Registration is divided into two semesters. For Grades N-5, days are divided into three blocks of time. HOMEWORK HELP A supervised study hall for Grades 1–5, with FASNY teachers or assistant teachers. TWO SEMESTERS PER YEAR 1. Fall Semester: September 21, 2020 to February 12, 2021 ENRICHMENT* 2. Spring Semester: February 23, 2021 to June, 18, 2021 *Childcare: Story time, arts and crafts, building games and playground time or playtime in the cafeteria. WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON PROGRAMS Enrichment for Grades N–5 students on Wednesday afternoons. CLUBS AND EXTRACURRICULAR CLASSES • Clubs: a variety of fun activities and workshops (offered by FASNY teachers) • Private and Semi-private music lessons • Adult and children language classes (French and Arabic) EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM Most of our classes/clubs end at 3:55 PM (Grades 4-5) or 4:20 PM (Grades N-3). If you would like your child to stay past this time, register for a 3:55 PM or 4:20 PM class/club or Extended Care program. SCHOOL BREAK CAMPS AND SUMMER PROGRAMS Fun, active and bilingual camps during FASNY fall, winter, and spring breaks. Summer camps for students Grade N – rising 5th in July, and a bilingual back-to-school program in August. OCCASIONAL “AS-NEEDED” CARE Students not otherwise registered for before- or after-care have the option to register on an “as-needed” basis by purchasing a “Pack of Hours” that can be used at any time (space permitting) during the school year.
