composition the 'Hebrides Overture'.
Discover the earliest settlements on Ulva, a
must for archaeology enthusiasts, explore
Livingston’s Cave and unfold it's history dating
back to 5,650BC.

TRIP ITINERARY
An illustrative itinerary, which is subject to change, to ensure full advantage is taken
for the weather conditions for each day.
Day 1 - A Warm Welcome
Discover Knock House, a classic west highland sporting lodge, and your accommodation for
the coming week. Explore the estate, meet your guides and the Benmore staff. Enjoy a first
class meal with like minded enthusiasts in our traditional dining room, before retreating to
your private bedroom to ready yourself for the coming week.
Day 2 - Explore the Island
Explore the island of Mull, discover Calgary Bay, rumoured to be the landing point of the
vikings, a panoramic beauty spot with white sandy beaches and gin clear waters. Climb the
battlements of Duart Castle, ancestral home of the MacLeans, and take in the breathtaking
veiws from the top. Sample some local Scottish Whisky in the bright and colourful coastal
capital, Tobermory.
Day 3 - Take to the Seas
Our 46ft Targa Motor Launch will allow access to Mull’s wild and most remote places
offering a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in some of Scotland's wildest and most
dramatic scenery. A voyage onboard Benmore Lady to Iona, via Staffa and the Fossil Tree
on Burg, and a private tour of the historical Abbey and Nunnery will leave you fresh faced
and rosy cheeked, with plenty to discuss in the comforts of Knock House upon your return.
TRIP ITINERARY
Day 4 - A Wilderness Adventure
Immerse yourself in the untamed and untouched wild landscapes in some of the remotest
parts of Scotland. Whether by foot or by boat, there is a sense of the wild just around each
corner. Steeped in culture and history, a holiday on the the Isle of Mull truly offers the
ultimate Scottish Island experience.
Day 5 - A Lifetime of Memories
There's always an opportunity for a final adventure on the island. Perhaps this would be a
fitting day to reach the top of Ben More, Mull's highest mountain and only munro, and the
discover breathtaking views from the top.
Refreshed and rosy cheeked, you'll leave the island relaxed and rejuvenated.
KNOCK HOUSE
ALL INCLUSIVE ACCOMMODATION
In the mountainous heart of the Isle of Mull awaits Knock House, a classic west highland
sporting lodge full of new life and old charm. With stunning views over the surrounding
hills and glens, Knock House is thoughtfully furnished to provide a luxurious, yet practical
island retreat.
Knock House will form your base for the week, alongside all the luxury comforts, we have
a dedicated working/studio space which we will use as space to develop up work and
sketches from our excursions on the isles.
This break has availability for up to a maximum of 10 guests with the costs inclusive of
expert advice and knowledge, hosting, accommodation, meals, beverages and
transportation on the Isle of Mull.
