Pink Collage With our focus colour this week being pink Miss Tenneile collected some pink paint, patty cakes, crepe paper and pom poms before joining the Elephants at the table ready to make some pink collages. “Wow” yelled Jade with excitement. ”Pink” added Meghan. One by one the Elephants each had their turn at painting on some pink paint mixed with some glue onto their paper. They then got to choose which decorations they wanted to add and where they would like for them to go. Dylan, Tobias and Keith were eager to begin sticking things to their page, adding lots of glue all over the page. Meghan and Harlow painted their glue in lines on the page before sticking their decorations down. “What colour is it Elephants?” asked Miss Tenneile. “Pink” yelled Olivia, Harvey and Caleb at the same time. “Good job it is pink” replied Miss Tenneile. The Elephants were all very pleased with how their pink collages turned out today.
Pink Shaving Cream This morning after we finished our pink collage Miss Tenneile set up some shaving foam with a little bit of pink paint in the trough tray. When Miss Tenneile brought the tray out and placed it on the table Olivia, Jade, Tobias and Meghan all came running over shout with excitement “YAY, YAY”. They could not wait to get into the shaving foam and explore the texture of the cold but fluffy shaving foam. When Caleb, Cienna, Alexis and Harvey noticed their friends coming over to the table to see what it was Miss Tenneile had set up they soon came over to investigate what was in the trough tray. Dylan, Keith and Deacon soon noticed their friends exploring the shav- ing foam so came over to have a look and explore the shaving foam. While the Elephants were exploring the shaving foam Miss Tenneile asked the Elephants what colour the shaving foam was Jade, Cienna, Caleb and Keith were able to confidently respond telling Miss Tenneile that the colour they were exploring was PINK. As we continued to explore the shaving foam there were a lot of giggles shared among the Elephants. It was great to watch the Elephants show such great enjoyment.
Outdoor Fun What a beautiful time! the elephants had spent outdoor to boost their energy be- fore the lunch. Once we went outside Megan, jade and Alexis had developed gross motor skills as they were running, walking and jumping on the soft obstacle pieces. Olivia held a basketball and smiled. She threw the ball to Miss Gora. She was pick- ing, throwing and kicking the ball until she could tired. Megan left the obstacle and sat with Cienna on the bus where both of were sing- ing a song “The wheel on the bus”. Decan, Dylan and Caleb had bike ride where they are zooming around the yard. Harvey was loading the truck with balls and taking them down to the sandpit.
