Welcome W hen the cold and snow blow in, it can often incentive us to hibernate at home until spring arrives. However, our team has a number of new and exciting activities to keep your mind and body moving during our chilly Michigan winters. While it’s hard to believe we’re planning for winter once again, we’ve made some excellent strides over this past year. Over the past few months we have partnered with Stonyfield Organic to transition John Collins Park and Manhattan Park from traditional lawn care materials to organic materials. In the next three years, we will test to see how our soil can be best cared for naturally while still allowing us to use the spaces for the variety of activities all our residents and visitors do. Also, I appreciate our community’s involvement as we work towards updating our community recreation plan. Everyday our team looks forward to working to provide opportunities to keep you and your family happy and healthy — we hope you enjoy all the fun classes and programs we have planned for you this season.
