DUBUQUE COUNTY CONSERVATION SUMMER CAMPS E.B. Lyons Interpertive Center AGES 3-4 Winnie the Pooh-6/23 & 6/24, 9-11 AM Explore the Hundred Acre Woods with Winnie the Pooh and his friends at the Mines of Spain. You will have a bouncing good time with Tiger as we find out what big adventure they will get into next. Adult must stay with child. Cost: $10 Wild Kratts-8/8 & 8/9, 9-11 AM Help the Wild Kratt Brothers as they protect the Mines of Spain against Zach Bots and others. Get the chance to learn all about the cool creatures that live in our area! Adult must stay with child . Cost: $10 AGES 5-6 Night Owls-6/21 & 6/22, 8:30-11:30 AM Once the sun goes down the fun begins for many animals. Come learn about the nocturnal animals that hide in the dark of the night. Although we might not get a chance to see these animals out during the day, we can still search for signs of their activity! Cost: $15 Creepy Crawlies-7/6 & 7/7, 8:30-11:30 AM Worms, bugs, and slugs! If you enjoy getting down and dirty with the creepy crawlies that roam these areas I have been coming to Swiss Valley then this camp is for you! Come learn about all the Camps since I was 3. It's one of my different “creepy crawlies” and discover how they are favorite things to do all summer! My not creepy at all. cousins do it with me every year. OVERNIGHT OUT OF COUNTY CAMPS Partners: Jackson & Clinton County ADULTS (18+) Mississippi River Voyageur Camp-6/20 - 6/22 Spend two nights and three days paddling the mighty Mississippi aboard 10-passenger voyageur canoes! This trip will involve paddling with our camping gear, cooking over camp stoves, and sleeping on sand bars along the river. Mandatory pre-trip meeting: June 5 Cost: $50 AGES 14-17 Yellow River State Forest Backpacking-6/28 - 6/30 Explore the stunning woodland views and meandering trout streams as we hike through the Yellow River State Forest. This will be a two-night three-day backpacking trip where you will discover what it is like to carry your possessions on your back, filter water, sleep in a tent and more! Mandatory pre-trip meeting: June 23 Cost: $50 AGES 12-17 Kickapoo Backpacking-7/12 - 7/14 Youth looking for an adventure are invited to join us as we go on a backpacking trip to the Kickapoo Valley Reserve! We will embark on this 3 day, 2 night backpacking trip as we hike the prairies and wooded hills of the Kickapoo Valley Reserve in Wisconsin. Mandatory pre-trip meeting: July 7 Cost: $50
