Saturday 1st May Bealtaine at Home Concert - Live From The RCC Time: 7.00pm www.regionalculturalcentre.com To officially launch Bealtaine 2021, we bring a number of talented local entertainers together for you to enjoy from the comfort of your own home. Featuring music from Gregory & Ciara Daly, Kieran Quinn, Alan Chapman, Finbarr Doherty and hosted by Fergus Cleary. Sunday 2nd May Ceol le Chéile Pat Gallagher - Dawn & Dusk Chorus - Live from the RCC Time: 7.00pm bealtaine.ie/bealtaine-event/dawn-chorus/ www.regionalculturalcentre.com The Bealtaine Dawn & Dusk Chorus events are festival favourites, which this year will feature our flagship choir, Donegal’s Ceol le Chéile, in a special online collaboration with two guest choirs – Ireland Unlimited and Aspiro. The choirs have been working hard behind the scenes and on Sunday 2nd of May, will be releasing an exclusive video of their preparations for this year: Tune in on Sunday 30th for the release of the final virtual performance. Monday 16th May Border Tales Border Tales is an oral history film that deals - Film Premiere with people’s experience of ‘the troubles’ in the northwest of Ireland, as they remember Directed by Keith O’Grady it. It comes from a wider project run by the Regional Cultural Centre in Letterkenny called ‘Northwest Border Stories’ that involved primary school-aged children from Donegal, Derry and Tyrone being trained in documentary techniques and conducting interviews with grandparents about their experience of the troubles.
