DILLARD HOUSE QUILT RETREAT 2021
                       Theme: “X Marks the Spot”
Mark one-     ___Session 1/ Mon.- Thurs. September 13-16, 2021
              ___Session 2/ Mon.-Thurs. September 20-23, 2021
Monday check in: 9:00 am -12:00 in the conference center
Check out by 12:00 noon on Thursday

Retreat Fee of $325 includes:
    •   6 meals, (Lunch and Dinner Mon., Tues., and Wed) & Coffee and doughnuts Tues., Wed., & Thurs.
        mornings
    •   Use of conference center on Monday from check in until 11:00 pm, Tues. and Wed. from 7 am- 11:00
        pm, and on Thurs. from 7 am-12 noon.
    •   All demos, lectures, or mini classes during the retreat.

Retreat Fee does NOT include lodging, patterns, fabrics, or supplies.
You will make you own room reservations with the Dillard House directly. (1-800-541-0671) ASK FOR
GROUP sales. If you need a roommate, let me know and I will be glad to post on the retreat Facebook page.

Deb’s Cats N Quilts/ Dillard House September Retreat Cancellation Policy

   • Cancellations made in writing by June 1 receive a full refund of deposit and
     any additional payments made. There are no refunds after June 1.

   • Cancellations made in writing from June 2- July 15, will receive credit
     toward the following year’s retreat minus a $50 cancellation fee. Credit is
     non-transferable and must be used the following year by the person to
     whom the credit was issued.

   • Cancellations made in writing from July 16- Aug. 31 will receive credit
     toward the following year’s retreat minus a $100 cancellation fee. Credit is
     nontransferable and must be used the following year by the person to
     whom the credit was issued.

   • Last minute cancellations, those made after Aug. 31, will be reviewed on an
     individual basis. For last minute cancellations please submit cancellation in
     writing detailing the reason for cancellation. Typically, no credit is issued
     for last minute cancellations.

Challenge 2021- “X Marks the Spot”
Entering the challenge is optional. To enter:

    •   Purchase a challenge packet. You must use all 6 of the panel pictures and the FQ somewhere in
        the front of the project.

    •   Make anything: Totes, Quilts, Wall hangings, clothing, etc. You may add as many additional
        fabrics as you want.

    •   Project must be completely finished to be considered (no tops or blocks).

    •   Project will be judged and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

2021 Featured Projects
     The following are selected projects for this year’s theme. You may
     work on one of these or may work on a project of your choice. (If
     you made “X Marks the spot” or “Starry Nights” during our virtual
     retreat, please bring for show and tell/ and or display)

     Order patterns online at www.debscatsnquilts.com.
     Except for the mystery, all will be mailed to you so that you can
     select fabric and pre-cut before arriving. Those who purchase the mystery will receive
     yardage and cutting info mid-July via email.

                                     X Marks the Spot- CLP pattern $4
                                     This pattern uses basic tools. The Creative Grids Folded
                                     Corner Clipper and CGR6 (6 ½” square) are suggested
                                     but optional.

     Starry Nights- Pattern $10 This pattern uses basic tools. The Creative Grids Folded
     Corner Clipper and CGR6 (6 ½” square) are suggested but optional.

T-shirts- Order online BEFORE July 1.
I love to support small business, especially young people just
getting started. Our retreat T shirts were designed by just
such a company. Place T shirt orders on my web site BUT
separate from pattern orders and click “pick up at physical
location”. These will not be mailed ahead of time. I’ll have
them ready for you when you check in at retreat.
Regular T shirt or ¾ length sleeve baseball shirt available.
