Introduction

1.7 Garages
The design of your home must allow for lock-up
car accommodation. Covered accommodation
for at least two vehicles must be provided for
lots with a frontage equal or greater than 10.6
metres and for all lots in Stages 1, 3, 4, 6, 7,
8a and 8b. Lots with a frontage of less than
10.60 will be allowed to construct single car
accommodation. These must be in the form of
a garage, which can be located under the main
roof of the dwelling.

To avoid garage dominance where possible,
the garage should be integrated into the house
structure. The garage should be set behind the
house frontage or with a minimum 1m projection
from the house. The 1m projection shall be
measured from the building wall line and not
from the verandah or porch.
