1. Introduction 1.7 Garages The design of your home must allow for lock-up car accommodation. Lots with a frontage of less than 10.60 will be allowed to construct single car accommodation. These must be in the form of a garage, which can be located under the main roof of the dwelling. To avoid garage dominance where possible, the garage should be integrated into the house structure. The garage should be set behind the house frontage or with a minimum 1m projection from the house. The 1m projection shall be measured from the building wall line and not from the verandah or porch. 7
