Antrim Recreation Department Days of Summer Camp 2021 Antrim Recreation Summer Programs are bringing back the classics, celebrating all that a New Hampshire summer has to offer! Antrim Recreation’s Days of Summer Camp will be operating Monday - Friday from 10am-3pm, July 12th through August 20th, 2021. Campers entering grades 1 through 7 can register by week for camp, with an exciting new theme each week! Our regular activities include crafts and sports, imagination and adventure -- campers might get to try out cooking, science experiments, kickball, noodle tag, Frisbee, dance, capture the flag, swimming, blueberry picking, or many other fun activities. PO Box 517, Antrim, NH 03440 603-588-3121 antrimnh.org ~ antrimsummer@tds.net Registration Dates and Deadlines: Registration will open for Antrim Residents first, on March 8th. Registration for Returning Non-Resident Camp Families will open on March 15th. Finally, General Registration will be open to the public on March 22nd. Registrations will be taken on a first come/first serve basis beginning at each opening date, and we anticipate camp filling again this summer, so we encourage you to get your registrations in early. Registrations can be mailed in to the Recreation Department at: Antrim Recreation, Attn: DoS, PO Box 517, Antrim, NH 03440, or can be dropped off at either one of the Recreation Department office drop boxes or at Town Hall. This is not a Conval School Program. Antrim Recreation is a tax exempt municipality.
This summer we are making a few changes to how our programming runs that we think will make camp even more fun and successful for everyone! When you are reading the camp brochure, please be sure to look for the weekly schedule and for some examples of the kind of fun activities that might be planned for each week! We are also excited to be offering Learn to Swim activities as part of the Camp experience this summer, during our mornings at the beach. A quick note from your Camp Director: I wanted to take a moment to discuss what camp will look like this summer. We are currently anticipating that we will have similar restrictions to last summer, and are still following all of the guidelines and recommendations being issued by the CDC, our governor, and the ACA. Masks will be required in compliance with all current mandates. Campers will be scheduled to participate in activities within their smaller groups, and drop off and meal locations will be spread out over the site to accommodate recommendations. A huge positive is that we do anticipate being able to use the Town Bus this year, which should allow us to take some off campus field trips to local attractions. While it may still feel a bit different, I anticipate this being a fun and successful summer of camp! See you at Camp, Tazz Space is limited, so register early! Registrations must include a 50% deposit for each week to hold your child’s spot. We also want every child to have the chance to come to camp, so if you need a scholarship, PLEASE ASK! Once we receive your registration, we will send you your camper information packet.
