Munich is the capital of Bavaria and a must-see for everyone who wants to get to know the south of Germany. There is no better place to experience the typical Bavarian flair and the warm character of Bavarians as this city. We want to see both the historic and the contemporary side of Munich with you. Furthermore, we will discover its regional culinary delights and the music scene together. Saturday 27th June A guided tour awaits you including a visit to the old and new town hall, the National Theatre, the “Viktualienmarkt“, the “Karlsplatz“, the “Isator” and the “Hofgarten”. In the afternoon, there are multiple options to choose from – you can either go shopping, attend a discussion on refugees at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich or join us for a visit to the German Museum or BMW Factory. Sunday 28th June We will start the day with having a breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Then we will continue with a walk through the English Garden and a visit of the surfing spot at the river Eisbach. Around midday, we will go out for lunch together and have an ice cream afterwards. In the afternoon at 1.00 pm, we will depart from the central train station. Vienna is the capital of Austria. The city can look back on an eventful past, which is why it offers interesting and beautiful impressions and a multitude of sights and cultural highlights. We will follow Queen „Sissi“ and her contemporaries and have an exciting time in the city on the river Danube. Sunday 28th June After checking in at our accommodations in Vienna, we will spend the rest of the evening taking a first look at the city and go to a traditional Biergarten. In the evening we will go to the „ Donauinselfest”, a festival. Monday 29th June On our full day in Vienna, we will start with a guided tour to see the most famous sites like the „Staatsoper“, the „Spanische Reitschule“ or the „Hofburg“ and of course also the „Hundertwasser-Haus“. We will have lunch at a traditional „Wiener Kaffeehaus“, a must for every tourist. The capital of Hungary is on the UNESCO list of world heritage sites with two of its impressive sights: The banks of the Danube river and the Buda Castle, which is one of the most romantic parts of the city. The historical district is 800 years old, but the beautiful medieval monuments are perfectly preserved. The Danube separates the cosmopolitan city Budapest into two parts - the hilly Buda and the flat Pest. Important landmarks of the city are the Castle Hill with the former Royal Palace or the rocky Gellért Hill with the Statue of Liberty and the Citadel. The city is also famous for its spas that have a history of over 2000 years! Tuesday 30th June On Tuesday after breakfast in Vienna, we will continue our journey to Budapest. After our arrival, we will check in to our accommodations in the city centre. Afterwards, we will eat lunch together and walk around Budapest to take in all the wonderful sights and get a first impression of the places. Wednesday 1stJuly The second day, we will have a guided tour through the city centre, so you can experience the most beautiful and famous sights for yourself and get to know a lot about them. Of course, we will also go on a trip into the Jewish district and later head along the beautiful Danube on a pedal-boat. Thursday 2nd July Today, our programme leads us to the German Embassy. There you have the opportunity to ask questions. In the Netherlands you will get to know the two biggest cities of the country: Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Rotterdam is the city of architecture in Holland and Europe’s largest port, so we will have a fantastic skyline! Furthermore we will see Delft, a small, old and typical city near Rotterdam, before going to the capital, Amsterdam. Friday 3rd july On the final day in Budapest, we will get up early in the morning and head to the airport to catch a flight to our next destination – Rotterdam, Delft and Amsterdam! In Rotterdam you will get the possibility to go to the market “De markthal” to discover some culinary food, to walk over the 800m long Erasmus bridge over the Maas river, to catch a nice view from the Euromast tower or to walk through the old town “Delfshaven”. Nearby is the typical Dutch city Delft. Saturday 4th July In Amsterdam we will look at the royal palace in the city centre, walk besides all the idyllic canals and we won’t miss the Flower Market with the tulips. Sunday 5th July At the end of our Amsterdam - Tour, we will go on a boat trip along the KANÄLE. Brussels is the capital of Belgium and the headquarters of the European commission. A royal flair and historic buildings give the city a special atmosphere. As a tourist, you must see the Grand Palace, the „Manneken Pis“ and have some Belgian Pommes. Monday 6th July We will go on a guided city tour and see the most exciting spots and attractions in Brussels, which include the market, „Guildhouse“, „Atomium“, „Mont des Arts“, town hall and so many more. The capital of France is one of the most visited cities on earth. You can feel the special flair and the French way of life wherever you go. No matter if it is museums, exciting city districts, cultural events or the breathtaking historic architecture that captures your attention - Paris offers a lot to see and discover. Get ready to be enchanted by this romantic city. Wednesday 8th July After having breakfast together, we will take the train to Paris. Arriving there, we will climb the Eiffel tower and enjoy the amazing view over the „City of Love”! Furthermore we will see „Sacré- Cœur“, „Moulin Rouge“ and „Trocadéro“. Thursday 9th July After breakfast, we will go on a sight seeing tour and visit all the well-known places such as the beautiful Notre Dame, Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triomphe and Montmartre. There is so much to see in this incredible city! Of course you have to see the Mona Lisa at the Louvre. Père Lachaise and the Jewish Quarter are also planned for the day. Friday 10th July To take a break from the beauty of Paris, we will discover the world of Goofy, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck on our last day! The time in Disneyland is always full of fun and action! Saturday 11th July We will finally return to Germany, Frankfurt. Au revoir! In Frankfurt we will stay in a youth hostel for one night. HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN THE TRIP? 1. Please fill out the registration form very carefully. You will need the signature of your parents and host family. The registration form contains important information, which we need because you are underage. That is why it is a bit longer than a normal online booking on the internet. You can find the form here: http://www.aubiko.de/language/de/reisen-fuer-austauschschueler/ 2. After we have received the money, you will be sent a confirmation of participation. 3. You will receive an exact agenda of the trip and all the relevant information (What should I pack? etc.). This information is sent to you and your host family. Should the information not reach you, please contact the aubiko office in Hamburg. 4. Please plan and book your journey to Munich and back home from Frankfurt airport and send us your arrival and departure details. These are the only costs you will have to cover yourself. We recommend and organize to bring the rest of your luggage to Frankfurt airport to make it possible for you to travel home directly. 5.
