Crossroads The Newsletter of Benner Township Spring 2021 2021 Summer Park & Rec. Summer Park and Rec will be structured differently this year due to COVID 19 restrictions. Summer Rec is currently scheduled to be held for 5 weeks beginning June 28th through July 30th. To register, children need to have completed kindergarten and no older than completing 5th grade. Camp entrance fees this year are $50 per child for Benner Township residents and $150 per child for non-residents. Some important changes to note this year: 1) camp will be limited to 50 campers, therefore, pre registration is required. 2) Due to social distancing requirements, camp will not be held when rain is forecasted. 3) Activities such as bowling and water day will not take place. 4) Current CDC guid- ance will be used. Registrations will begin to be accepted on May 10th to Benner Township residents first. If space permits, Non-Township participants will be offered a spot on a first come first serve basis beginning on May 24th until we reach our 50 participant limit. Registration/consent forms will be available to download on the Township’s website: www.bennertownship.org beginning on May 3rd. If you don’t have the ability to download documents, please call the Township Office at (814)355-1419 and we will see that one is sent to you. Camp will be held at the Township Municipal Building, 1224 Buffalo Run Road. Camp won’t be as it once was, but we still hope to fill it with safe activities and fun this summer. 2021 County and Township Real Estate Tax Bills The 2021 Centre County and Benner Township real estate taxes were mailed out the beginning of March.
