Friday, April 2nd (Good Friday) & Monday, April 5th, Easter Holiday Important Dates To Remember April 12th ACT Aspire - (ALL 9th and 10th Graders) Science and Math Testing. **Virtual Day for ALL 11th and 12th Graders** April 23rd ACT Aspire - (All 9th and 10th Graders) English, Reading, and Writing Test **Virtual Day for ALL 11th and 12th Graders** April 26th - ACT Aspire makeup testing/Remote Student Testing (9th/10th Graders Friday, April 30th - No Classes (Not a Virtual Day) Attention ALL Freshmen and Sophomore Students... ACT Aspire Assessment Test It is required by the State of Wisconsin to administer the ACT Aspire assessment test to all freshman and sophomore students. The ACT Aspire is an online summative test that measures what students have learned in the areas of: English, Reading, Math, Science, and Writing. All freshman and sophomore student will test on the following days: Monday, April 12th, 2021 Testing in Math and Science rd Friday, April 23 , 2021 Testing in English, Reading, Writing th The ACT Aspire is a precursor to the ACT (which is taken in 11 grade) and indicates what areas are at grade level and which areas need improvement. Students will need to be here on both of the testing dates. They will be assigned a time, those times will be sent out early next week.
Freshmen and Sophomores will be testing on this day, while all other students will have a virtual day. Students testing will not be required to complete virtual schoolwork that day. The ACT Aspire cannot be taken remotely, all students must be IN PERSON to complete testing. Please contact Mrs. Hammerling at chammerling@martinlutherhs.org if you have question or concerns. This Mother’s Day Weekend, join Ebenezer Stone Ministries as we celebrate Moms for a Mission. The event will be held at Martin Luther High School. This is a Fundraiser where you can enjoy a brunch catered by Texas Roadhouse, listen to CBS 58 anchor Nicole Koglin give a riveting speech, and participate in a wine pull and 50/50 raffle, all while supporting a good cause. We are in great need of financial support during these difficult times. Prom Dress Reminder PROM is a formal dance. This means that you must be in formal attire. NO JEANS will be allowed. Girls dresses must adhere to the dress code. NO JEANS NO TWO-PIECE DRESSES NO SHEER PANEL CUT-OUTS ON THE FRONT OF YOUR DRESS NO FRONT CUT-OUTS Strapless dresses and dresses with cutouts on the back are fine. Interested in the Navy or looking for a Summer STEM Camp? The US Naval Academy is holding its world-class Summer STEM Camp this coming June in a virtual format, and has reached out to have more students from Martin Luther join them! Summer STEM (https://www.usna.edu/Admissions/Programs/STEM.php) is for current 9th and 10th graders. This is an amazing experience! Flyer attached has information about the program. There is a fee associated - but scholarships are available (depending on the family's individual circumstances). The fee includes USNA apparel and program materials.
