Hot Orange Cider Mix Adjusted from Cindie Olsen’s recipe 2 cups apple cider 6 cups orange juice 1 cup sugar 2 cinnamon sticks (6 inches) / 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1 whole nutmeg (or ½ tsp ground) Pour apple cider and orange juice in a slow cooker. Stir in the sugar. If using ground spices, place them in a cheesecloth or coffe filter and tie it up with butcher’s twine. If using cinnamon sticks and whole nutmeg, simply drop them into the liquid. Turn the slow cooker on high and cook for 2-3 hours or until warmed through. Remove the spices. Garnish each mug with an apple or orange slice if desired. 6
