WINTER COATS, SHOES AND BOOTS
AVAILABLE
If your child is in need of a winter coat, gloves, hat shoes or
boots, please contact the school office 419-693-0624 with your
child's size. We received a generous donation of brand new coats, gloves and hats from the
Oregon River-East Teresa Knight of Columbus Council and we have Old Newsboy vouchers
available for shoes and boots.

Does your child seem to struggle with feeling anxious? Anxiety is a normal response when
faced with something that is threatening or dangerous, embarrassing or stressful because it
prepares us to manage the situation. Check out the image below to learn how to help your
student work through their anxiety.

                               SECOND GRADE FIT CLUB UPDATE...
                               It's been a little while since we've had Fit Club due to the
                               closing last week! This week we reviewed what a squat was,
                               learned how to do a jump squat, and learned how to properly
                               perform a lunge! The students did some walking lunges and we
                               worked on keeping our shoulders up and not letting our knees
                               go too far out in front of us! They had a blast and we finished
                               with a pretty intense game of sharks and minnows! I can't wait
                               to see them again next Wednesday at 8:20!

Punxsutawney Phil predicted 6 more weeks of winter! Please make sure your students are
bringing in hats, gloves and coats and are dressing appropriately for the temperatures. Strep
Throat like symptoms are starting to pop up among our student population and I am seeing
complaints of sore throats in the clinic.

Thank you to those who returned borrowed clothes. Socks and Undergarments provided are
for your student to keep. Also thank you to those families that have donated clothes to the
clinic for our students. It is very much appreciated!

TUTOR SMART - OREGON PUBLIC LIBRARY
Beginning January 9th, enrolled students in grades 1-8, get extra practice and support 4 days a
week (Monday-Thursday, 6:30-7:30) in Reading and Math.

checkout!

If you have not re-enrolled your Kroger Community Rewards
card for this school year, please do so now.

To re-enroll a card, simply go to
www.krogercommunityrewards.com
· Click “sign-in”
· Put in your email address and password that you used to
enroll your card.
· Click on your name at the top right, scroll to the bottom for
Community Rewards.
· Put in the group number or part of the name of the
organization.
· Choose the correct organization.
· Click Enroll.
You are now enrolled for the 2022-2023 school year of Kroger
Community Rewards.

If you are having an issue with your password and or email
address please 1-800-KROGERS, press 5 for customer service,
press 5 to speak to a customer service representative.

If you are registering for the first time, you will need to set up
an account first.
· For a member to enroll for a card, simply go to

· Put in your email address and password. Confirm your
password
· Enter plus card OR alt ID number
· Go to Community Rewards (near bottom)
· Follow through the steps. (Name, address, etc.)
· Put in the group number or part of the name of the
organization.
· Choose the correct organization.
· Click Enroll.
