Top scorer in history of football At its most fundamental, fantasy football is a game where football fans use their knowledge of sports to compete against each other in formats that refer to the actual performance of professional football teams. The goal of the fantasy football player is to select which athletes or teams will have the most impressive performance during a week. To succeed in fantasy football, a fantasy player must follow the NFL weekly events and make better choices than his opponent does. Modern fantasy football can be traced back to the end of Wilfred "Bill" Winkenbach, a businessman in the Oakland area and a limited partner of the Oakland Raiders. In a hotel room in New York during an eastern background trip of the 1962 Raiders, Winkenbach, along with Raiders Public Relations man Bill Tunnel and Tribune reporter Scotty Starling, developed an organization system and a rules book, which eventually would be the basis of modern fantasy football. Focusing on AFL offensive skill players, Winkenbach's project set the foundations for what would come to be known as GOPPPL (Greater Oakland Professional Pigskin Procrastinators League). On his return to Oakland, Winkenbach organized the eight inaugural teams, which consisted of individuals who met one of the following qualifications: An administrative branch of the journalist AFLA with direct relation to the football pro Someone who bought or sold 10 tickets for the 1963 season of the Raiders As stated in the original rules, the purpose of the league was "to gather some of the best forecasts of griron on Saturday morning of Oakland to shove their respective brains (and cash) against each other" in the hope that it would lead to "closer coverage of daily events in professional football". The original government book has declared that westates two alloy officials: a secretary who would keep scores, check rosters, keep records, and manage all the mountains and a commissioner who would chair the whole leagueappoint any committee necessary and mediate any dispute of league. As the owner of a small business, Winkenbach had all the necessary tools (phone lines, typewriters, a mimeographic machine) to become the first commissioner of the fantasy football league. After the assembly of the eight original teams in 1963, Winkenbach invited all the owners of the team into the basement of his house to participate in an inaugural project GOPPPL. This article has been sent to No matter sports, it is difficult to beat a team on their home field or court. College football is one of the mostand when a team has a winning streak at home that embraces many seasons, you can bet their fans are extra excited for the game day. Many teams have continued to beat the teams visiting over the years. The dynamics of a college stage have a lot to do with it. The players of the home team know the field and are pumped to play before the crowd of the home town. Fans show up in the thousands to cheer their team. You can get so strong in some stadiums on Saturday that the opponents can not call a decent game. The psychology of the advantage on the home field is a great factor. Fourteen teams have had long unbeatable traits at home over the years, all of them who have spent several years. Miami and Alabama were not the only teams to win each home game for more than a few years. Many great players have kept alive the pride of their school of play and played a role in these longest house winning streaks in the history of college football. Home Win Streak Anni Miami (Florida) Hurricanes 58 matches 1985-1994 Alabama Crimson Tide 57 matches 1963-1982 Harvard Crimson 57 matches 1963-1982 Michigan Wolverines 50 matches 1901-1907 Nebraska Cornhuskers 47 games 1991-1998 Washington Huskies 44 games 1908-1917 Texas Longhorns 42 games 1968-1976 Not Dame Fighting Irish 40 games 1907-1918 Not In the 1980s and early 1990s, the University of Miami had the best program in university football. The hurricanes were fast, meschini and above all very dominant. Nowhere were the most dominant rods at the Orange Bowl, the stadium they called home.on 12 October 1985 and 24 September 1994, Miami won 58 consecutive games at home. This broke the record for the longest home win strip previously held by the Alabama. Crimson Tide won 57 directly'Canes won three national titles during this stretch. The Crimson Tide won all of his home games, 57 in all, starting on 26 October 1963. Their strip ended a short record in Miami with a 38-29 defeat against Southern Miss on November 13, 1982. In particular, the loss was Coach Bear Bryant's last home game with the team. The hurricanes can hold the title for most home wins, but the Yale Bulldogs were just a few points from the final home win strip. At the dawn of the 20th century, the Bulldogs were unbeatable at home. They won each home game from 1900 to 1908 with the exception of one. That loss occurred on November 14, 1903, when Princeton came to visit. The final score was 6-11, won on a 42-yard field goal by John DeWitt of Princeton to break a tie. The field goals were five points in the college ball in those days. If it hadn't been for that loss alone, Yale's home win streak would have been 74 games rather than the 37 consecutive games found in record books — the loss came squarely in the middle of those two strokes. It would have been a really unbeatable strip. It is never fun to lose and when a team gets on a long losing streak, it may require a toll on players and fans. But what happens when a football team can't win a single game for some seasons? That's when things become really difficult and you have to appreciate the will of every player to continue. In the history of college, there are quite a few teams that had long streaking streaks. While the teams and fans would like to forget these years, it is interesting sports tripod to watch the teams that did not do so well. The country's main college football conference is called the subdivision of the football championship, division 1-A. And on that greatThe Northwestern Wildcats have a record that they would probably want to tear from the registers. When it comes to Division I-A football, they have the title for the longest losing streak in history. Between 1979 and 1979The wildcats lost 34 consecutive games. are six nearest competitors, the virginia cavaliers, who lost 28 (1958-1961) and the wildcats of the state of kansas, who also lost many (1945-1948). here are all fbs teams who have suffered through long losing streaks of at least 20 games. team consecutive losses when did it happen? northwestern wildcats 34 games 1979-1982 university of virginia cavaliers 28 games 1958-1961 kansas state wildcats 28 games 1945-1948 new mexico state aggies 27 games 1988-1990 eastern michigan eagles 27 games 1980-1982 colorado state rams 26 games 1960-1963 duke blue devils 23 matches 1999-2002 northern illinois hokies 23 matches 1996-1998 duke blue devils 22 games the prairie view A&M panthers had their program cut in 1990 due to a huge fiscal deficit. in June of that year, the "houston chronicle" reported that there were 100,000 dollars missing and many people in the athletic department, including head football coach haney catchings, were charged. in 1991, the school reported football despite the lack of scholarships and the next seven seasons did not see a single victory. to make it look even worse, in 1991 the panthers scored only 48 points throughout the season (1992 was not much better, but they scored 55 points that year.) after the1997, the Panthers broke their losing streak and since the mid-1980s they have actually done very well. They also won SWAC SWACChampionship three years in a row from 2005 to 2007. The reassembly of the small school is an amazing and pays tribute to the success of the team in the 50s and 60s Black College Championships. You really have to give it to those players who blocked the long drought and played hard against some hard teams. When it comes to winning, there are only a handful of college football coaches whose records really stand out. Three men can claim the most successful coach in college football, and each is a legend of the game. Several coaches boast record of impressive victories is worth noting, too. The rankings are based on total payouts, not on the payout percentage. No one can match John Gagliardi's overall record, the most successful coach in university football. His career took place over 60 years, from 1949 to 2012, and attended two small schools of Division III. Gagliardi spent his first seasons at Carroll College in Helena, Mont., before moving to St. John University in Collegeville, Minn., 1953. He remained in St. John's until 2010. During that time, he led the Johnnies to four national titles, the last in 2003. Eddie Robinson spent his entire career as a coach at Grambling State University, a historic black institution (HBCU) in Grambling, La. During his term, Robinson turned Grambling into a football power station, sending over 200 players to the NFL. As a coach, Robinson led the Tigers to 17 championships of the South-West Athletic Conference and almost all national football championships of Black College. During his career, Robinson did not miss a single game. The victories aside, Joe "JoePa" Paterno holds a number of university football records, including the distinction of having spent several years on a coaching staff at a university. Paterno joins theLions as an assistant coach in 1950 and was promoted to head coach in 1966, where he remained until he went down in 2011. During his tenure, Penn State won two national titles and five teams enjoyedseasons. For a short time, Joe Paterno of Penn State disappeared from college records. In 2012, the NCAA stripped Paterno of 112 of his victories after the scandal of abuse of minors of Jerry Sandusky came to light. These victories were restored in 2015. In 34 years at Florida State University, Bobby Bowden was only a year away. He was in 1976, his first year as head coach of the Seminoles. Bowden began his career as a coach in 1954 as an assistant at Howard College (now Samford University), briefly moved to South Georgia College, then Florida State, before heading to West Virginia University in 1965. He spent the next 11 years, first as an assistant and then as head coach of the Mountaineers. During his term in Florida State, Bowden led teams to 12 conference titles and a national championship. The NCAA stripped Bowden of 12 victories for recruiting violations during the 2006 and 2007 seasons. In 27 seasons, Larry Kehres led the Purple Raiders to 11 NCAA Division III titles, more than any other coach. Equally impressive is its payout percentage .929, the highest of any college football coach. Kehres set a number of other records during his term with the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio, including 21 undisputed regular seasons, and a strip of 55 wins from 2000 to 2003. Only a handful of football coaches can boast career records with over 300 wins. These coaches complete the list of the 10 winners: Amos Alonzo Stagg (329-190-35, 1892-1946): Springfield College, University of Chicago, College of Pacific Paul W. "Bear" Bryant (323-85-17, 1945-1982): University of Maryland, University of Kentucky, Texas A&M, University of Alabama Glenn Scobey "Pop" Warner (318- 1063)University sources
