                                             I began utilizing the library about four years ago on a consistent
                                             basis. I had just lost my job and was eager to get another position
                                             as soon as possible, so I began going up to the library to use the

Holiday Crafts

                    As a community, we celebrate many different holidays
                    amongst our community members. We can gain a shared
                    appreciation for the holidays celebrated in our community by
                    learning about the different holidays that our neighbors cele-
                    brate. If we have missed an important holiday, please visit the
                    Youth Services department to let us know. The more we learn,
                    the more we grow!
                    Pick up a special themed craft bag with information and activi-
                    ties for each holiday on the Monday of the week of the holi-
                    day to take home. Mondays not listed will have seasonal or

Battle of the Books Interactive Reading Experience
Students in grades 4th-8th grade can checkout the 2022 Battle of the Books and receive a bag
full of presents that go along with each of the forty books. Open the presents as you read the
book for an Interactive Reading Experience. The battle books and present bags are available at
the public library and your school library. More information about the 2022 Battle of the Books
will be available as we get closer to the month of May.

Volunteens!
Volunteen hours continue this March. Visit the library to sign up for a 1 hour time slot once a
week. During your Volunteen time, you will be making birthday cards for the community. Vol-
unteen sign-up is ongoing. Just visit the library to fill out an application.
