Our Mission Pick 6 Sports is striving to put a smile on every kids face by showing them how fun it is to be active and to play football. Our programs are designed to help kids build self-confidence through a positive, fun, and safe environment on the football field. Youth sports play an important role in a child’s development and the lessons they learn playing youth sports translate into all aspects of life. 3

Season Overview Week 1 – Equipment Handout & Preseason Games • Preseason games are schedules 20 minute games. Each team plays 2 games Regular Season Games Wild Card Weekend • Match Up Games / Tie Breakers • Won’t show on the schedule until week before Super Bowl – Weekend of November 3rd and 4th • All teams with a .500 or better record All League – November 10th • Super Bowl champions play for Pick 6 title 7

Player Equipment • Mouth Guards Required • Purchase from Field Manager • Pick 6 Sports is Cashless – Need a Card, Apple Pay or Android Pay • Jersey tucked in • Away team is the white side • Home team is the dark side • Flag Belt extra part is tapped up and not hanging out. • Belts on the Hips Denay’s Pro Tip: Get a parent or assistant coach to help you double check everything during practice. 9

Rushing the QB 2 Point 1 Point 1st Down 2 Point 1 Point Rushing Line 7 Yards • Any player behind rush line can rush the QB • Once ball is handed off, any player can cross the line Glenn’s Pro Tip: Once center starts to move the ball, rusher is free to go. Offense practice crisp, fast snaps. 12

Tips for Being Successful • Have a Plan! • Practice Plan - Flyers Up is not a Plan • Game Plan – Get all kids involved early • Fundamental of the Week Program • Running is not a bad thing • Practice what you are going to do in the game • Communicate to Parents and Pick 6 Staff Rodney Pro Tip: Build confidence in practice so that carries over to the game. If play doesn’t work in practice probably won’t work in the game! 17
Bad Behavior is Not Tolerated • Yelling at Referee / Opposing Fans or Coaches • 1st Incident – If on offense, they lose possession of ball. On Defense, ball is moved to the 2 point orange cone with a fresh set of downs. • 2nd Incident – Team forfeits and asked to leave field. • Fighting or Intentional Tackling • Player will be ejected and must leave the field • Team will be awarded 8 points and possession of the ball • If event involves Coaches or Parents, the game will be called and both teams will be • Players or Adults who fight will be removed from our league. • Kids Age Verification 18
Super Bowl Tournament • Renton and Tacoma Regional Tournament • Teams who are .500 or better invited • Gold Tournament – Top 25% of teams • Silver Tournament – Rest of Teams • Awards for both Gold and Silver Tournament Winners • Tournament may be pool play and bracket play. Depends on number of teams. 19
All League Championship • Super Bowl Champions invited to play for title of All League Champions! • Wanted to be invited? Win the Gold Super Bowl Tournament • 1st thru 8th Grade • November 10th at Hazen High School 20
Nationals @ Pro Bowl Regional Qualifier are scheduled between Aug 25th to Dec 15th • Winners go to play in National Tournament at Pro Bowl • Based on Age as of August 1st • Main cost is Air Fare Visit Pick6Sports.com/nflflagregional for more info on upcoming tournaments Let us know if your team wants participate or help us identify players to put together a “Pro Bowl” team to play in the tournament.
