6 Senior Center and CanTeen The Senior Center, located at 5924 Lathrop Drive in Cicero, is open Monday through Friday from 10 AM‐4 PM. Membership for Cicero Residents is free and $30 per person for non‐ residents ($45 per couple). The award winning center hosts a variety of programs including exercise, cards, bingo, cra s, pool, golf lessons, entertainment and local and out‐of‐town trips. PEACE Luncheons are offered three mes a week for a nominal dona on. The Cicero Express bus is available to Cicero residents on Monday and Fridays’ for $3 per round trip. If you have ques ons about membership, the Cicero Express, the Senior Center Newsle er, or Senior Center programs, call the Center at 315‐452‐3298. CanTeen “It’s not a program, it’s a rela onship” The CanTeen, located at 6046 Route 31, has served youth for 20 years (from 1999‐2019). The CanTeen is a safe, supervised, Teen Center for youth in 8th‐12th grade. The teen center offers an a er‐school drop‐in site with ac vi es to suit all interests such as: leadership opportuni es, service learning, making new friends, cooking, and homework help. The Center is closed during the summer but offers local and overnight trips throughout the summer months. Permission slips for the summer trips can be picked up from the CanTeen. 7 Youth Programs Girls Tennis Camp with Coach Cary Coach Cary’s Camp will include instruc on drills, fitness, and match play. This camp is intended to accelerate the rate of improvement for players that plan to compete on a high school team or tennis tournaments. Par cipants will be using specialized equipment for training. 11 Youth Programs Brick Inspiration LEGO® Camp You can build it – with LEGO® bricks Our LEGO camps explore science, technology, architecture, engineering and art concepts using LEGO® bricks for pupils aged 5‐14. The camp will fire up your child’s imagina on and spark crea vity in the form of inspired play building one of our many themed LEGO crea ons coupled with our magical delivery. Our curriculum will provide your child with an opportunity to design and build lots of different LEGO® crea ons. The possibili es are limited only by their imagina on. 13 Beach Programs SUP Stand Up Paddleboard Pilates at the Park (Sunrise and Sunset) Sculpt your body, increase coordina on and balance with Pilates instructor, Kelly Kinahan. This 4 week class works to balance all muscle groups for strength and flexibility with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles. Kelly’s classes incorporate medita on, ballet barre, 21 Pilates Mat exercises and a cool “Zen Vibe” through her musical playlist. Please bring a 1/4” or 1/2” mat and a water bo le to class. 14 RENTALS Pavilion Rentals Having a large family gathering, reunion or wedding? Or just want to be outdoors? We may have just the pavilion or gazebo for you! Each pavilion has tables with charcoal grills nearby. We also have a wedding gazebo on the lake at Joseph F. William Memorial Park that is perfect for that special day. The Rec Center holds approximately 40 people and also has a kitchen available if needed. Please note: All town facili es are alcohol and smoke free Kiosk Rental ‐ Promote your Business The Youth Bureau, Parks & Recrea on Department is now ren ng valuable adver sing space on the kiosk located on the edge of the Park & Ride on Route 31. The sign is visible to thousands of vehicles a day as they exit 81 North and/or travel on Route 31. Just $75 per month for a one year commitment and $100.00 per month for a 3 month commitment. Great rate considering the number of poten al customer impressions. Extended Day Camp follows the same schedule as Day Camp.
