March Sandhill Cove 2020 EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH Lori Zartman Receptionist Lori joined Sandhill Cove in March 2011 as a receptionist for Water’s Edge. Nine years ago Lori had her mom staying at Water’s Edge and fell in love with the Community. She saw a job opening for receptionist and decided to apply. Lori has been married for 42 years to her husband, John. They have 4 children and 7 grandchildren with one more on the way. Lori was a farmer in Indiana and drove a tractor. They raised chickens, pigs and cattle. Lori enjoys doing crafts with her grandchildren. She loves to laugh and smile. I asked why you love working at SHC? She said “I love helping people and making them feel comfortable. SHC is like working with a big family”. “Residents make me very happy” Please join us in congratulating Lori on being selected as the Employee of the Month for March. Bob and Laurie married when he returned from service and they have 2 sons, Robert Jr., a retired engineer living in Panama, David, an engineer with Chrysler Corporation, and a daughter, Christine, a professor at Florida Atlantic. Bob’s first book titled “The Giant Killers” was written in 2010 about his experiences in trying cases against large cor- porations like Disney, Budweiser and Motorola and “brought them to their knees”. The second is “A Story about Love and War” written in 2013 chronicling the let- ters sent back and forth with Laurie when Bob was in the military. Laurie had saved them all, tied up in ribbons and
