Relax and enjoy a peaceful and special Christmas or New Year, here
at Barnsdale Lodge Hotel. Set in the heart of Rutland's beautiful
countryside, we are located on the north shore of Rutland Water,
close to the local boutique shops of Oakham and Stamford.

As soon as you cross the threshold you will receive the warmest of
welcomes. We always aim to make Barnsdale Lodge an extension of
your home, and you are in the perfect surroundings to do as much
or as little as you like.

We have cards and board games available for traditional fun and
keeping warm inside, or why not walk off Christmas lunch around
the shores of Rutland Water with your family. Your dog is very
welcome too!

Whatever you choose to do, Christmas and New Year is a very special
time at Barnsdale Lodge Hotel and our attention to detail and
outstanding service will ensure you have the perfect stay. Do enquire

         Designed for privacy and with relaxed luxury in mind,
  Rutland Retreats are a collection of two and three-bed self-catering
   accommodation, created using natural and sustainable materials
               with architectural detailing throughout.

   Ideal for families, each Retreat comprises a master bedroom and
     one or two additional bedrooms. The master bedroom has an
  en-suite shower room, double wardrobe and French doors opening
     onto the garden. The additional bedrooms both have built-in
       wardrobes and doors opening out to the private gardens
                       and share a family bathroom.
