Private hire
Parties are our speciality and we can also arrange
exclusive hire of the entire pub.
Whether you want dinner and drinks, or a buffet,
we can arrange a package to suit your needs.

January offer
If, like us, December is just too busy to celebrate,
join us in January for your festive knees up!
Enjoy the same menu (including the crackers!) any time
through January and we will knock 25% off your food bill
for tables over 10.

Treat for the organiser
Being the organiser is hard work – collating pre-orders,
gathering deposits, finding a venue everyone will love…
As a small reward for your hard work, the organiser
of any group of 10 or more will receive a £25 gift voucher
to use as they please in the new year at The Marlborough Tavern.
(Monday to Friday, January and February).
Vouchers issued in first week of January.
Booking must be made by the 19th of December.

We love Christmas here at The Marlborough Tavern – delicious food and
memorable experiences are our speciality. Our pub is the perfect party
venue for parties large and small. Our festive menu is available from 23rd
November, right up to, and including Christmas Eve.

Christmas parties are our speciality!
We have a dedicated Christmas co-ordinator to help organising your party
as simple & straightforward as possible. They’re on hand to answer any
queries you may have & to ensure your party is a great success. So if you’d

                                     Starters
       Beetroot & gin cured salmon, dill creme fraiche, toasted rye bread,
                              pickled radish (gfo)

        Roasted butternut squash & vanilla soup, toasted pumpkin seeds,
                     toasted sourdough, butter (vgo, gfo)

Wild mushroom & chestnut arancini, jerusalem artichoke pureé, artichoke crisps,
                                 truffle oil (v)

 Duck liver pâté, orange & cranberry chutney, pickled grapes, focaccia crisp, wild
                                    leaf salad

                                      Mains
Roast turkey crown, pork, sage & apricot stuffing, duck fat roast potatoes, braised
 red cabbage, brussels sprouts, stick parsnip, carrots, gravy, cranberry sauce &
                                  bread sauce

   Pan fried cod loin, celeriac purée, cavolo nero, brown shrimps, caper butter,

New Year’s Eve – open midday until 5pm, back open 7pm until 1am
 New Year’s Day – open midday until 6pm, food served until 4pm
