John Gibson Brown Family Reunion Planning Committee

The John Gibson Brown’s Family Reunion will be hosted at the beauti-
ful Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel— New Orleans French Quarter. This
luxurious 4-star hotel is located right in the heart of the French Quar-
ter. A few steps away is the world renowned bourbon street. This hotel
has been renovated and includes comfortable bedrooms, beautiful
amenity and common spaces, and a roof top pool to relax or play.

We have secured a negotiated rate of $139/night for a single/double/
triple/quadruple occupancy room (note the room rate does not include
applicable taxes and fees). Room reservations must be made on your
own, and must be reserved no later than April 1, 2020. Please do not
delay in reserving your room, as July is an extremely busy time in New

Check-in, catch-up and un-wind in the John Gibson Brown Host Suite! Light appetizers and refreshments
will be served. You will be greeted with a custom welcome basket with wonderful goodies. Final itinerary
and ticket information will be distributed at this time.

** The rest of the evening will be on your own, so feel free to discover Bourbon street and enjoy dinner.

Explore New Orleans, go shopping or dive into another tour! We will be sure to provide our top picks for
sites, eats and shops!
                                Friday, July 17, 2020 (EVENING)
Enjoy a sunset dinner cruise on the renowned The Steamboat Natchez. We will dine in style enjoying south-
ern/creole culinary classics. This 2 hour cruise will feature live jazz music as we enjoy an relaxing view of
the New Orleans skyline and some of its most historic sites. Let’s show NOLA how the JGB Family dines
in flare and style!

Saturday, July 18, 2020 (DAY)
The John Gibson Brown family will enjoy a day guided tour. New Orleans has a rich history and plays an
important part in the history of African-Americans. Let’s learn about the French, Creole and African
culture making it the melting pot that it is! The
details of this activity are in progress. More to
follow soon!!

Family worship, brunch and farewell (details to be shared soon).

DUES
In order to make the planning of the John Gibson Brown Family Reunion a success, we are in need of a
commitment from the family by way of dues. We are making every effort to make this reunion affordable
and fun. Your reunion dues are based on a per person cost and include the following: Access to Welcome
Host Suite including beverages and light appetizers, Welcome Basket with John Gibson Brown Family Re-
union memorabilia and New Orleans souvenirs, Jazz Dinner Cruise on the Steamboat Natchez.
Below are the dues structure for the 2020 John Gibson Brown Family Reunion.
    ADULTS (18 Years Old +)                             $125/pp
    TEENS(12-17 Years Old)                              $125/pp
    CHILDREN (11-2 Years Old)                           $75/pp
    CHILDREN( Under 2 Years Old)                        Free

PAYMENT METHOD:
All payments must be received no later than November 1, 2019. All dues are non-refundable. Please remit
