It is just a minute's stroll to the golden sands and safe surfing of North Beach, the fascinating Snake Park and Mini Town, and is close to a host of other entertainment centres: cinemas, theatre, putt-putt, Amusement Park, Suncoast Casino & Entertainment World, uShaka Marine World and horse-racing. Transport hubs are all minutes away by car. The hotel is 20 km from Durban International Airport, 9 km from Virginia Airport, and just 2 km from the train and bus stations in the main shopping area. The five-minute distance from the central business district, as well as the superb executive accommodation, make this hotel ideal for business visitors. Three stunning penthouses each have a spacious sitting-room, dining-room, private patio,
guest toilet, bedroom with walk-in cupboard
and large en-suite bathroom with separate
shower. There are nine generous executive
suites with king-sized beds, and 272 double
rooms with a choice of twin, double, king-size
or two double beds, all en-suite and some
with separate showers. There is also a room
specially equipped for physically disabled
guests.
All rooms have a telephone, remote-controlled
TV with M-Net, individually-controlled air-con-
ditioning, electric razor plug (220/11 OV), hair-
dryer and in-room tea and coffee-making facil-
ities. Ice-makers and vending machines add to
your convenience. Other facilities and
services include safety deposit boxes, same-
day laundry, dry-cleaning and baby-sitting.

The Piatto Mediterranean Kitchen Restaurant provides excellent family fare as well as room service from its bar and restaurant. There are three meeting rooms which can cater for between 10 to 150 people, depending on the configurations. All essential meeting facilities and equipment are available, and tea, coffee and biscuits are complimentary.
