24 Annual Art Exhibition & Sale and North Lincolnshire Young Artist of the Year Award 2020 Week-long event £2 entry: Join us for a week-long exhibition and art sale of North Lincolnshire’s finest artists, for the first time at John Leggott College. We will also be introducing a new generation of artists at our Young Artist of the Year Awards 2020 May Open Gardens May through to September Visit a whole host of glorious gardens situated in and around Scunthorpe and surrounding villages, the Isle of Axholme and Lincolnshire Wolds Dying Matters Week (13 to 20 May) We will be raising awareness on this important subject in and around the Hospice. More details to follow Care for a Cuppa Month-long event Get together with friends for a good old fashioned cuppa, you organise the event, we’ll provide you with a fundraising pack to make your event a success
16 Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge Saturday Age 18+, £20 (includes T shirt) with suggested minimum sponsorship of £250 The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge is a walking challenge based in the Yorkshire Dales taking on the peaks Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. The event is approx. 26 miles long and the challenge is to complete the walk in 12 hours from start to completion 17 Afternoon Tea Sunday, 1pm to 4pm Hirst Priory, £19.95 Afternoon Tea in this beautiful 300 year-old country house, serenaded by violinist and vocalist 23 Skydive Saturday Age 16+ Hibaldstow Airfield, £50 (with suggested minimum sponsorship of £350) Tandem skydive with fully qualified parachuting instructor from 15,000 ft 28 Golf Day Thursday Doubletree by Hilton Forest Pines Teams of four are invited for 18 hole Golf Competition on this award winning course. 12 Glow Walk 2020 Friday (Age 13+) Step up and Glow for our third Glow Walk, this is a 10-mile fundraising walk, which starts and finishes at Lindsey Lodge Hospice. More details coming soon 21 Summer Garden Party Sunday, 10am to 4pm Lindsey Lodge Hospice grounds, Fun for the whole family with stalls, games, activities and snacks, as well as a whole host of entertainment. We’ll also be drawing the winning ticket in our Summer Superdraw. This year our event will be bigger and better than ever before – watch this space for more details coming soon! July 11 Shark Dive Saturday Skegness Aquarium, £40 (with suggested minimum sponsorship of £250) Get up close and personal with an array of sea life species, from bat rays and unicorn fish to black tip reef sharks and zebra sharks 25 Wing Walk Saturday Age 18+, Wickenby Aerodrome, £50 (with a suggested minimum sponsorship of £250) Daredevil fundraisers take to the skies and wing walk on a vintage Stearman aircraft to fly high over the Lincolnshire countryside (maximum 13 stones 2lb weight limit)
August 02 Market Rasen Family Extravaganza Sunday 12 noon, Market Rasen Race Course We are delighted to be the Charity of the Year for this event. Featuring family entertainment and FREE kids’ entry. October 17 Vintage Fair Saturday, 10am to 4pm Entry £2, (under 16s go free) Redbourn Club Vintage Fair with a whole host of stalls selling clothing, furniture, jewellery and retro home ware, along with our Blitz Café, serving food and drinks, with dancing provided by Major Swing and Kitty 17 Vintage Dine and Dance Saturday, 7pm till late Tickets £12, Redbourn Club Dress to impress and enjoy an evening of music from the 30s, 40s and 50s provided by Major Swing and Kitty. December 05 Jingle Bell Ball Saturday We’re holding a very festive Winter Ball at Doubletree Hilton Forest Pines! Watch this space for more information 06 Light up a Life Sunday Please join us in our beautiful Memorial Garden around our Light up a Life tree, for a service of carols, reading, music and reflection. Sponsor a light and you will receive a Lindsey Lodge Light up a Life tree decoration, on which you can write your own personal dedication to hang on our tree during the service. Before and after the service, refreshments will be available here at the Hospice 12 Festive Vintage Dine and Dance Saturday, 7pm Redbourn Club, tickets £12 Dress to impress for our Vintage Christmas Party Night and enjoy an evening of music from the 30s, 40s and 50s provided by Major Swing and Kitty.
