In particular, it is mandatory to wear the mask before the start and after the finish. The race director and/or the IOF Adviser can suspend the race and/or disqualify any person who is not following the above mentioned rules. MOC Championships 2021 - Stage 1 Night-o prologue in Alonte, 19th March 2021 MEETING POINT AND RACE OFFICE OPENING Meeting point is located at Palestra Comunale di Alonte HERE GPS: 45.363000, 11.427064 The race office is located at the meeting point to collect number bibs, rent SI-Card and info. Race office is open from 17:00 PARKING Parking is at the meeting point HERE GPS: 45.363000, 11.427064 RACE TERRAIN Mix terrain 80% open areas and fields 20% urban. MAP Alonte - Scale 1:5000 contour intervals 5m - Updated 2021 All maps are printed on water-resistant paper in A4 size. In case of bad weather, plastic bags will be available at the start. PUNCHING SYSTEM With SportIdent system. IS possible to punch in standard mode or in AIR+ (for SIAC types of SportIdent). In case of malfunctioning of the SI-station, runners must use the manual punching system. Is possible to rent the SPORTident at a cost of 2€. In case of loss of the rental SI-card, the 30,00€ deposit will not be returned. START First start is at 18:00, Start will be free and time will start by punching the start station. Start will be open from 18:00 to 19:30 The start area is at 200m from the meeting point. CONTROL DESCRIPTION The control description is printed only on the race map. LENGTHS Course lengths can be found HERE REFRESHMENT There is no refreshment during or after the race. WITHDRAWS AND MAXIMUM RACE TIME Runners which wants to withdraw from the race must inform the finish responsible and race director. Maximum race time is 1hour. All courses will close after 1hour from the last start.
After this time has passed, all controls will be collected and athletes still running must go to the finish. MOC Championships 2021 - Stage 2 Sprint race in Lonigo, 20th March 2021 MEETING POINT AND RACE OFFICE OPENING Meeting point is located at the entrance to Villa San Fermo's park from Viale Vicenza GPS: 45.392290, 11.391728 The race office is located at the meeting point to collect number bibs, rent SI-Card and info. Race office is open from 13:00 PARKING and TOILETS Parkings are at the school and the area in Viale Vittoria GPS: 45.390447, 11.389218 More parkings are at the supermarket Eurospar GPS: 45.392404, 11.390472 it is anyway possible to park the car anywhere in Lonigo urban area At the school in Viale Vittoria there are toilets available for all athletes CAMPER: for campers there is a parking area at the municipio di Lonigo GPS:45.388915, 11.386284 RACE TERRAIN Sprint race in city park. Mix terrain 20% urban, 60% forest e 20% open areas and fields. It is forbidden to use metal spikes and metal studs shoes! On the terrain there are some fallen trees which are not mapped, but they are not relevant for the race. MAP Parco Villa San Fermo - Scale 1:4000 contour intervals 2.5m - Updated 2021 All maps are printed on water-resistant paper in A4 size. FORBIDDEN AREAS Some areas are marked on the map and on the terrain as forbidden with the symbol709 (Out-of-bounds area ISSprOM 2019). Runners crossing those areas will be disqualified. COMPETITION CLASSES As for Italian National special rules under Covid-19, only competitive classes are allowed. Classes: M/W-14, M/W-16, M/W-18, M/W-20, M/W ELITE, M/W B M/W35+, M/W40+, M/W45+, M/W50+, M/W55+, M/W60+, M/W65+, M/W70+, M/W 75+, DIRECT/OPEN PUNCHING SYSTEM With SportIdent system. IS possible to punch in standard mode or in AIR+ (for SIAC types of SportIdent). In case of malfunctioning of the SI-station, runners must use the manual punching system. FINISH PROCEDURE Final race time will be given by the FINISH station. After punching it, athletes shall wear the mask and quickly move away from the station. Keeping the mask on, athletes shall move to the SI-card read out, keeping at least 1m distance from other persons. Before collecting the split times, they should sanitise their hands. MAP COLLECTION Competition maps will not be collected after the finish, we trust in the fair-play of each competitor. In case of unsportsmanlike behaviour athletes can be disqualified. REFRESHMENT There is no refreshment during or after the race. RESULTS Race results will be published online on liveresultat. orienteering.se. PRICE GIVING Official race price giving for each MOC Stage and MOC Overall will be done at the end of the race in Montecchio Maggiore on 21st March 2021. The 3 best in the under 20 classes and M and W Elite will be awarded. For master classes (over 35) only the winners of each MOC stage and MOC overall will be awarded RACE AREA SCHEME The race arena scheme for Lonigo is available HERE LENGTHS Course lengths can be found HERE SPECIAL SYMBOLS Symbol 313 (water object) is used to indicate some artificial water feature and water pumps as shown HERE Symbol 530 (manmade object) is used to indicate some visible benches HERE EMBARGO All the area of Villa San Fermo's park is embargo area. Those who are staying at the hotel Villa San Fermo are not allowed to visit the park and the area around the hotel before and during the race. On Saturday the 20th March they will need to leave the hotel and be outside of the park before 13:00. They are allowed to get back to the hotel 30 minutes after the last start.
MOC Championships 2021 - Stage 3 Sprint race in Montecchio Maggiore, 20th March 2021 MEETING POINT AND RACE OFFICE OPENING Meeting point is located at Scuola Anna Frank a Montecchio Maggiore (VI) GPS: 45.503741, 11.411645 The race office is located at the meeting point to collect number bibs, rent SI-Card and info. Race office is open from 09:00 PPARKING and TOILETS Parkings are at the sport center Campo Sportivo Comunale G.Cosaro GPS: 45.499769, 11.407259 At the sport center there are also toilets available for athletes. RACE TERRAIN Sprint race in urban terrain: 90% paved urban and 10% city parks. It is forbidden to use metal spikes and metal studs shoes! MAP Montecchio Maggiore - Scale 1:4000 contours interval 2.5m - made in 2021 All maps are printed on water-resistant paper in A4 size.
