The 2nd is the first spectacular challenge, a Par 3 of 167 yards across a deep crevice cutting into the cliffs. The 12th Par 3 is probably the most memorable hole on the Course providing magnificent views to the Mountains of Mourne. or Option (TBC) Royal County Down GC Located in one of the world’s most naturally beautiful links settings in the Murlough Nature Reserve, zigzagging back and forth to provide a different vista from virtually every hole. The narrowest ribbons of fairways thread their way through as impressive a set of sand dunes as could be imagined. The fairways are surrounded by purple heather and golden gorse, beautiful to look at but unforgiving to any who may stray from the prescribed path. The greens are fast and many are domed, rejecting any shot lacking conviction. 2016 BRITISH OPEN TOUR WITH TEED UP: Client Testimonials My first experience with Teed up was one of joy, and many bucket list moments, playing the best courses in UK/Scotland, enjoying it with like-minded souls, staying at great hotels, and soaking up the atmosphere of St Andrews won't be easily forgotten, will be hard to beat! The Open at Troon wasn't a bad consolation either! Craig Huxtable, Director, Huxtable Property Trust (Sandhurst Golf Club) The size of the group and the seamlessness of the processes to get it all done was something to behold. Whilst very different from the Masters experience I think the Open is up there with the best of what you can do with Teed Up. Thanks for a wonderful time, again. Grigor McPhie (Royal QLD Golf Club) The tour was great and I came home inspired to keep playing golf. The courses were tremendous and despite the golf traffic were in excellent condition. This tour was seriously about the golf and the group were keen to be challenged by the world class courses. All in all as a busy person I thought the format was terrific and I could frankly have stayed on and played more golf. I would strongly recommend the British Open tour as being for serious golfers who want to experience challenging world class courses. I had a great time. Peter Taylor (Moree Golf Club) It was an awesome tour playing some of the best golf courses in the world and seeing the best players in the world play a tough golf course. We were very lucky with the weather and everyone got on so well. John Wright (Royal QLD Golf Club) Fantastic trip. I only wish I could play the courses more than once. David Walker, Doctor, (Indooroopilly Golf Course)
