We got to the last This time, on the first stage, we got as far as the Gallangowan stage and hit a triple caution jump at about 160 kmh. The Fire Tower and the oil pressure light came on. MOTOR SHOW DISPLAY ………. Rod Sams Following on from the success of the 50th anniversary display at the Motor show last year the Club was again provided with an opportunity to have a display at this year’ s show. Again this was a great opportunity for the Club to promote itself in a very public arena. The job of organising the display fell to Peter Whalley who, in the short time available, was able to arrange for vehicles for display and the other display items required. To ensure maximum benefit was achieved from the display a roster was drawn up to have the display “manned’throughout the show. This proved to be more difficult than it should have been as volunteers were conspicuous by their absence. Once again the task fell to those who volunteer to help at almost every event. The efforts of those who helped out are much appreciated. Thanks also to Tony Kabel and Trent Dutton for the supply of their vehicles for display and of course Peter and his team for their efforts.
