Company overview • Raubex was founded in 1974 • Started as a road construction and bridge building company • Listed on the JSE in March 2007 under Construction and Materials sector • Substantial growth through strategic acquisitions post listing • Operates a vertically integrated model through a number of subsidiaries • Specialist in all road construction disciplines • Full road construction cycle • Growth in the materials supply and mining sector including; • Commercial quarries, contract crushing and materials handling and processing for the mining industry • Diversified into infrastructure disciplines in 2013 including; • Renewable energy (solar and wind), water, commercial buildings and housing infrastructure • Operates throughout Southern Africa • Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe • Established a footprint in Western Australia in January 2018 • Raubex employs over 7 400 people

Conclusion • The South African government’s economic recovery strategy in response to Covid-19 is encouraging • Strategy is stated to include “a substantial infrastructure build programme” • 18 Strategic Integrated Projects including 50 sub-projects have been gazetted • Raubex is well positioned to participate in the Renewable Energy, Transport and Human Settlements projects • Work flow from SANRAL has resumed and this will benefit all stakeholders • A significant increase in tender activity has been observed in recent months • An increase in construction sector activity should also benefit materials supply operations of the group • The materials division will continue to diversify the group through its operations in the mining sector • In southern Africa, the Beitbridge border post upgrade in Zimbabwe reached financial close in November 2020, this is a major project for the group and works are progressing well • In Western Australia, the market continues to show good growth prospects as the government also looks to stimulate the economy through infrastructure spend • The group’s strong balance sheet and healthy cash reserves position it well for future growth and participation in the South African government’s infrastructure build programme
