Boosters TERESA DRIVAS tdrivas@bethelsd.org 253-800-7074 Facts about Bethel High School Community Booster • We are a recognized 501c3 by the IRS • We support all students and staff of BHS regardless of their participation • Coordination of most volunteer activities goes through our Booster Club • Winter Wishes, Fundraising, Sports & JROTC • Bulk of spirit wear is done by our volunteers to raise money for our students For Seniors specifically • We donate the cakes and all water for their senior awards How can you help? program After the meeting you can sign • Coordinate and help with volunteers for Prom and Senior up to volunteer (You do not Breakfast have to pay a fee to volunteer) • Design and sell senior shirts and/or become a participant in our Booster Club with a small IMPORTANT joining fee - You can designate Senior Shirt: The spelling of your child’s name is up to 75% of your participation used from the Synergy operating system. Student fines • The senior class has a total of: • $7,484.30 • If you think you have a fine: • Check online or at the ASB office. • Online payment: Go to www.bethelsd.org and then "payments and purchases" to check or pay fines. • If you have a fine: • Pay……If you have difficulty paying in full: • You can make small payments every month as long as it’s paid off by graduation. • IF YOU DON’T PAY YOUR FINE, you DON’T walk for graduation, official transcripts are not sent to institutions of your choice, and you don’t receive your diploma. • Lunch fines: if you need help with paying for lunch, you will need to go online to do so.

Senior Advisory Requirements • Passing Advisory is a graduation requirement! It fulfills the High School and Beyond Plan requirement set by the State. • Community Service and Job Shadow hours were waived for your sophomore and junior years. Seniors are responsible for 8 hours of Community Service or Job Shadow this year. • All seniors* must complete their Student Led Conference (SLC) in the spring, as well as write a 2-5 page paper reflecting on their high school experience and how it has impacted their post-high school plans. You cannot pass Advisory without these. • A full assignment description and SLC scoring rubric will be shared via Advisory. • *Running Start students completed these requirements through their College Success class. They do not need to do a SLC or reflection paper.
