VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SUMMER BRIDGE PROGRAM
We have a "Save The Date" event in August that needs parent volunteers' help. Please
check your August calendars and if you can help, it would be greatly appreciated!
The Summer Bridge Program at South is looking for parent volunteers to accompany
students on field trips on August 13th and 15th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. If you are

Many thanks to the hundreds of volunteers who have made this year an outstanding
one for our Staff and students! The energy and time invested in our school is one of the

are 9-day programs, including 2 days and nights of solo time, facilitated by skilled
guides and assisted by a circle of initiated adults and elders. The experience is
meant to sufficiently challenge the initiate to leave behind their life and
psychology as a child and return with the courage, vision, knowledge and support
to take up their life as an adult. Counselors then continue to offer support
throughout the following year after the trip is over. For information call Jenny
       Russell at 541-729-5803.

So long and thanks for all the fish!
