WITH HEARTFELT SADNESS, WE REMEMBER Richard A. Gozur, Sr. i With great sadness, we paytribute to the truest of Red Devils. Everpresent, | always there. No others showedhis dedication to his family, his friends, his | school, and his community as he. Whenouralumniassociation was founded in 2007, Rick immediately offered his support and found an office space in the high schoolto house ourfledgling association. Healso servedasfirst vice president of our organization and Eovided valuable insight that led to its growth. Furthermore, Rick assisted in the establishment of the Michael R.”Mickey” Soroka Charitable Foundation, formed in honorofhis friend and colleague. It is evident that Richard A. Gozur, Sr. dedicatedhis life to others, especially Campbell’s youth. In the classroom, in the board office; and, in the gameoflife, everyone wanted to be on Rick’s team! Rest easy, Big Rick, and fly high. We, as Red Devils, will lead by your example and continue your legacy. You will be missed. Mrs. Huda Bragalone The AlumniAssociation also mournsthe loss of one of our founding trustees and longtime scholarship sponsors, Mrs. Huda Bragalone. Huda, and her family, has sponsored a $1,000 student athlete scholarship in honorof her late husband, Campbell alum, Ray Bragalone, since 2007. The Bragalone family has been extremely generousin their support of our Campbell students and have admirably never refused a request for financial assistance. Thisaltruistic group of individuals is truly committed to continuing the Red Devils’ traditions of excellence as was evidenced when members of Ray’s family and friends traveled to Campbell for our initial scholarship banquet in Spring, 2007 to connect with the first Ray Bragalone Scholarship recipient and support all of the alumni association’s scholarship winners. Ourthoughts and prayers are with the entire Bragalone family. Huda was one of a kind and will be sorely missed!
