Please note: This is a Hendra vaccinated event All riders and associates will be required to use the Nominate Equestrian App to check-in and check out of the event. COVID-19 Statement This site is operating in compliance with an Industry COVID Safe Plan. www.qld.equestrian.org. au/covid-19. Please follow the rules and keep us all safe, maintain social distancing, wash hands regularly, utilise the sanitation stations available around the venue. Please be prepared to leave your contact details for tracing purposes. Please ensure that you check in on arrival at the venue via the ‘Nominate Equestrian App, and check out on departure from the venue. Prizes and Results There will be no presentations at the end of the competition. Cash & ribbons to 3rd place, ribbons 1 to 4 commenced competitors in the class, as per EA 505.3.1. To receive your prize money, the rider will need to show proof of recognition and acknowledgment for the sponsor of the class. This can be done with a Google Review, Facebook post and sharing to sponsors page. Prize money will be paid directly into riders accounts. Place getters to provide details within 14 days with evidence of above. EA 515.6.2 - Protests concerning irregularities or incidents during a competition, or the classification of a competition: not later than 30 minutes after the announcement of the results or the posting of results on the event notice board. Key Information Maps will be available via the CrossCountry App – please download. Riders will be required to print their back numbers before arriving at the event. Please print two. Email will be sent with the draw. Classes are limited to 30 riders per class, once this number has been reached, a waitlist will operate. Juniors – please state when entering if you are a junior rider. If we have sufficient numbers, we will run junior classes, if not the top 3 juniors will be recognized in each class.’ Camping Powered sites $40 per night Unpowered $30 per night. Yard: $20 per day. All dogs must be kept on a leash. Please pick up after your dog. STRICTLY No dogs allowed on the cross country course or warm up and competition arenas. NO vehicles on the XC course. Please take your rubbish with you or place in the bins provided. The Warwick Horse Trials Committee prohibits the use of electric wire/tape fencing being used at the venue (GR109.3). Only provided yards to be used. No portable yards to be erected.
Volunteers As at all events, the assistance of volunteers to help out with dressage pencilling, show jumping and as cross-country jump judge is essential to the running of the sport that we all love. Please provide the volunteers’ name, details and email address when entering as a briefing document will be sent out prior to the event. Hendra Vaccination: 1. Hendra Vaccine boosters have been administered within the previous 12 months OR 2. The first of the two priming doses must have been administered before the event Exemptions may be considered and should be applied for by email via events@warwickhorsetrials.org.au (Please Note: Horses who have not received any doses of vaccine will not qualify for an exemption). Microchip numbers are required with the nomination. The committee reserves the right to conduct random checks throughout the event; Hendra Vaccination does not replace the requirement for good biosecurity practice and Horse Health Declaration are still required to be provided at the event; and Special Note: Some horses at this event may not be fully compliant with the label recommendations of Equivac HeV Vaccine. Refund Policy http://www.equestrian.org.au/sites/default/files/Eventing_Australia_Refund_Policy_2018_0.pdf 1. No refunds after initial close of entries (3/11/2020) 2. Refunds prior to the close of entries will attract a 10% administration fee. 3. If the event is cancelled, there will be a 20% administration fee withheld from nominations. 4. Refunds for stabling & camping 5. Substitutions of horse and rider will be considered up until the Wednesday prior to the event, as long as in the same class. No other substitutions will be considered. Please ensure that you enter the correct class, Any changes will attract a fee. Please indicate on the entry if you are a junior (rider under 18yrs). Late entries: $50 fee will apply per horse – please contact the Secretary Hot Weather Policy Consideration will be given to allowing Summer Dress (no jackets) Depending on the weather conditions at the event if temperatures above 30C. The welfare of the horse is paramount & Ice will be available from various servos in Warwick.
All Riders MUST be EA members. • Horses in EvA95 and above must have current EA registration. • FREE Base Registration is available for all other horses on the EQ website. • Conducted under EA National Rules, riders are responsible for being aware of the rules. • It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure they hold the necessary Minimum Eligibility Requirements to enter their desired class. Please refer to Equestrian Australia National Eventing Rule 520.4. . Biosecurity Requirements It is a biosecurity requirement to complete and hand into the event organizers, upon arrival, a Horse Health Declaration form. Failure to present a fully completed Horse Health Declaration prior to starting may result in the removal of the riders’ right to compete from the event. Farrier – there will be a farrier on call. Please ensure that you carry a spare pair of shoes for your horse. Disclaimer of Liability Riding is a dangerous sport and riders enter the competition at their own risk. Neither the Organizing Committee of any event to which these rules apply nor Equestrian Australia accepts any liability for any accident, damage, injury, or illness to horses, riders, ground, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever. RESERVATION OF RIGHT The Organizing Committee reserves the right: • to cancel any class or event • to divide any class • to transfer competitors between sections of a class • to alter the advertised times • to refuse any entry, with or without stating the reason
