Carol mentioned that there are 336 members in the Club and that nine new members were recruited in 2018. She informed the meeting that the following members passed away: Paul Cleveland, Maurice Chairman Johnny Walker at the AGM. Treasurer: Barbara Mathiesen mobile 0413 892 877 Bereavement Assistant Treasurer: David Rolfe Newsletter Editor: Ken Simpson-Bull WE were saddened to hear of the death of Robyn Harvey Auditor: Pat Kenny (née Grosse) who passed away, far too young, in January General Committee: after a stay in hospital. Robyn was one of the ABC’s first Tiffany Bryant, Allan Hiscock, female Technical Operators in 1970 and was occasionally Bruna Niblett, Jo Maxian, seen at Reunion Club functions. In March we lost Beth Wilson (née Neville) who worked for many years in the Radio Talks Department (later Special Projects). Beth and husband Harvey were seen at many of our functions and Beth often contributed articles to our Newsletter. In the early days she was behind many humorous “false” official memos that were circulated to staff as practical jokes. Our sincere condolences to all families and friends. New Zealand Cruise OUR group of 12 members who took the P&O cruise to New Zealand have returned after a great holiday. Unfortunately, there was one catastrophe—Dick Wood had a fall on board the ship and fractured his shoulder and a rib and was confined to the ship’s hospital for several days.
