Renewable energy on airport AAC recently delivered an additional source of renewable energy on airport with the commissioning of an 86.6KW rooftop-mounted solar array within the Beatty Precinct. The system comprises 212 x 405W antiglare solar panels accompanied by three high efficiency inverters. It enables AAC to reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 139.6 tonnes per annum. Since commissioning, the system has generated 35MWH of energy, which is 24,746KG of Carbon Dioxide Equivalent.
