CAREER OPPORTUNITIES ZOOS, WILDLIFE AND ACQUATIC PARKS A zookeeper manages the care of animals kept in captivity for conservation or to be displayed to the public. SANCTUARIES Professionals in charge of the rescue, rehabilitation and release of wildlife, and providing a permanent, individualized and species-specific care to those that cannot be re-introduced in nature. PRIVATE AND PUBLIC RESEARCH FACILITIES A laboratory animal technician monitors and takes care of the wellbeing of animals kept in lab enclosures, participates in research, connecting and integrating the work of other professionals, and ensuring the respect of the guidelines of the National and European laws.
