Aneephya / ʌh,niːfɪə / Aneephyitis is the release of the aneephya toxin into the blood stream. Announced by a sound similar to that of knuckles quietly cracking, it is triggered roughly between ages 9–11, continuing into adulthood, and later old age. This is specific to Black people as a result of weathering and trauma carried down generations. Aneephya: In relation to ancestry Secrets often carry through generations. As universal as this phenomenon may be across all racial and ethnic backgrounds, studies show that the levels differ dramatically when it comes to Black people. Dr Senyo Eriife YGLT (hons) notes the following from his recent book – Aneephya: From the Cradle to the Grave: White families tend to spill their tea so freely their gardens become soft, limp and infested with root rot. This is not the case within Black families. It’s as if the ground beneath their feet struggles to flower and when it does, it dries up and dies. 5
