View in browser Alumni Invited to Provide Input on New Mascot or Nickname The VUAA Board of Directors encourages all alumni to participate in providing input on Valpo’s new nickname or mascot. Your comments and suggestions will be reviewed by the committee established by President Padilla. In August 2020, the VUAA Board passed a resolution asking the University to commit to a “comprehensive review of the Crusaders nickname, mascot, and related imagery, including consideration of retirement of the Crusader.” Click below to read more about the committee and to submit your comments. Valparaiso University Announces Reimagined Communication and Visual Arts Department Valparaiso University’s communication department and art department will merge into the Department of Communication and Visual Arts.
