All-Star Soccer Classic 2021
Congratulations on being selected to be an All-Star for the 13th Annual
Louisiana High School Soccer Coaches Association’s All-Star Classic! As you
can imagine, much planning and effort has been put forth to make this event
a reality.
We ask only one thing from the All-Star players— Have Fun!!! You will have
a chance to come into contact with many of the best players the state of
Louisiana.
You were chosen because of your soccer ability and the character and
leadership that you have demonstrated throughout your soccer career.
Enjoy this experience with your new teammates…it is your last high school
soccer match.
Overview
Athletes should report to Strawberry Stadium at SLU – GATE TWO -
on the day of your match.
(GIRLS: Saturday, 2/27, 7:30am; BOYS: Saturday, 2/27 9:30am)
This is a ONE-DAY event. Players will report to the stadium at their assigned
times, will receive their game jerseys, meet their coaches, and follow the
schedule.

All-Star Soccer Classic 2021 Match Details
The Girls and Boys all-star soccer matches will be sponsored by the LHSCA
and the LHSSCA. The Girls All-Star game will be February 27th at 9:30am
and the Boys All-Star game will be February 27th with an anticipated start
time of 11:30am. In the event of a rainout, there will not be a make-up
date.
The match will be a regulation match consisting of two, 40-minute halves. If
the match is tied at the conclusion of regulation, then the game will advance
directly to penalty kicks to determine the winner. All players on the roster
shall play a minimum of 20 minutes. The head coach has complete authority
to designate his/her starting line-up. Prior to the match, the “home” team
will be decided by the flip of a coin.
If an All-Star player has not reported to the site by the close of registration
on the date published, he or she may be replaced unless he or she has
notified the LHSCA or LHSSCA of the reason for being late. The original
player will not be contacted if a replacement is selected.
Except for special All-Star rules affecting play, the game will be played under
National Federation Soccer Playing Rules and officiated by LHSAA-registered
officials. The LHSSCA Executive Committee is responsible for securing match
officials.
Each All Star will bring gear appropriate to his/her position.
You will be provided a jersey, game shorts, and socks.
An on-site trainer will take care of any injuries, taping, etc.…
PowerAde and water will be provided during the matches.
Baden will provide the official game balls for the match.
Each coaching staff will choose its own MVP. The LHSSCA will recognize both
an East and West MVP for each match.
The LHSSCA Executive Committee will oversee the match and the MVP
selection. All decisions made by this committee will be final.LHSCA & LHSSCA

7:30am Players arrive at SLU’s Strawberry Stadium
Report to the locker rooms no later than 7:45am.
7:45-8:00am Meeting with Coaching staff.
Girls dress in uniforms. The coaches will make a
handwritten roster with actual numbers of the
players after any “trading” is completed. This will
be the roster that is used to announce the
players.
8:00am EAST All-Star Pictures with RomaPics Photography
8:20am WEST All-Star Pictures with RomaPics Photography
8:45am Warm Up Time
Empty Locker room and stage backpacks BEHIND
8:45am your bench areas. Teams opposite pressbox side-
East closest to the scoreboard; West away from the
scoreboard.
9:20am Walkout & Introductions
9:30am Girls All-Star Match
11:00am MVP presentations and coaches meeting with
