players and would like to see if there is enough interest.
Starting next Spring we would like to provide a framework to
encourage tennis at our Black Creek courts. This would be a
                                                          two-pronged approach:
                                                        • Lessons for beginners and juniors if there is sufficient demand
                                                        • A weekly mixer so that the many tennis players that live in Black
Creek can meet each other and enjoy some tennis and some
                                                          socializing.
So that we can identify our audience and gauge the interest and
demand we want to do two things:
                                                        • Have people register their interest by getting their name on the
tennis list and indicating their interest(s). To do this simply email:
                                                          programmer@blackcreek-cc.com
                                                        • We will then canvas all those people in the Spring to try to schedule
                                                          the mixer and/or lessons.
                                                        • As of now we are a committee of two, but if anyone would like to
assist us, we would welcome the support and infusion of ideas that
others can supply. You can contact Reg Eadie at 780 909 9782 (cell)

AYODEJI IPAYE (PRONOUNCED IO)

T
ell us a little bit about yourself, where
you are from and what you enjoy doing
in your spare time I am originally from
Nigeria. I work in the telecommunications industry/ IT. In
my spare time I enjoy coaching basketball & dancing. I
play multiple sports: soccer, volleyball, tennis, etc..
What do you like most about living in the Black
Creek area? The best thing about being in the creek
is being around nature and livestock & surrounded by a
great community!
What inspires you to be a part of the
Community Centre? My inspiration to be part of the
community centre is bringing people together to learn
different skills/culture & learn from each other
Can you tell us more about the popularity
of the Afro-Beats dance culture & what this
means to you? AFROBEATS dance culture has hit the
global stage with pioneers like the late great Fela Kuti,
and other current pioneers like Burna boy, Wizkid, davido
and many more. This dance style takes on a personality
of shared joy, rhythm and communication. Afrobeats
puts a smile on your face whenever we feel worn down
with some of the norms of life. It’s mostly enjoyed in the
community and there are no restrictions or qualifications
needed, you just need to embrace the beats!
Sign up for fun dance nights with Ayo. Bring your family
and friends and have some FUN!! Thank you Ayo for
bringing multi-cultural dance to our Community!
