Elementary Students of the Month Anna Kay Loyd: Anna Kay has shown discernment with her actions and speech. She obeys all the rules even when I am not in the classroom and chooses to do right even when I am not looking. Way to go, Anna Kay! Heidi Goddard: Heidi chooses to do right even when others do not. She doesn't laugh when someone gets the wrong answer. She is a joy to have in class! Keep up the good work, Heidi! Sophia Perez-Muniz: Sophia displays discernment by recognizing and removing herself from situations or students that would tempt her to do what is easy. I am proud of her because this level of discernment requires humility to acknowledge a weakness and determination to combat that weakness. Biblical discernment is a fruit of wisdom. Wisdom is the fruit of knowing and obeying God. May God bless Sophia with His wisdom as He helps her to know Him more. May God receive glory as she learns to discern between right and easy in every situation. Keep do- ing right, Sophia! Graham Wagner: Having discernment is sometimes hard, but Graham has shown it this month. If I have to leave the classroom for anything I know I can trust him to do what he is supposed to. He is kind to others, even when they get something wrong. Good job, Graham! Owen Windham: Owen is my student of the month because he uses discernment by doing what is right even when there is not a reward be- ing given. Keep up the great work, Owen! Samuel Collins: Samuel has done an excellent job using discernment! He stops to think about his choices and does his best to make the right choice. Way to go, Samuel! Braylon Cusick: Braylon is a wonderful example of discernment in our 4th grade class! He constantly demonstrates discernment by thinking through his actions and questions, making sure they are appropriate and done in the right time! Congratulations, Braylon! Keep up the excellent character! James McGregor: James is very good at working when it's time to work and playing when it's time to play. He discerns when is a good time to ask questions and tries to help others do right. Thank you, James! Keep doing right!
