WHO WE ARE
Lake Champlain International (LCI), founded in 1998, is a
federally recognized 501c3.
Lake Champlain is a premier fishery, economic engine,
and recreational resource, and our mission is to keep it
swimmable, drinkable, and fishable.
Through events, advocacy, educational programs, and
grass-roots campaigns, LCI works to connect people with
our water resources, carry on the angling heritage, and
build stewardship.

41st Annual
LCI Father's Day Derby
presented by Yamaha
June 18 - 20, 2022
More than 5,000 participants from over 300
states join us for this 3-day New England
tradition on Lake Champlain. Hundreds of
prizes, including 80 places in the species
categories, plus 35 junior places, team
division, women's division, and hundreds of
raffles!
Eligible species include: bowfin, brown trout,
carp, channel catfish, lake trout, landlocked
salmon, largemouth bass, northern pike,
rainbow trout, sheepshead, smallmouth bass,
walleye, and yellow perch.

Free fishing fun for children 14 and under.
Little anglers will try their hand at landing a
big catch and weighing the fish with our
official derby staff.
Plus each participant leaves with a new fishing
pole.

LCI Bass Open September 4, 2022 Lake Champlain is consistently ranked as one of the best bass fisheries in the country by national publications and professional anglers alike. LCI brings competitive bass fishing to Lake Champlain, as 2-person teams head out of Malletts Bay after their best six bass. LCI Champlain Basin Derby April 10, 2021 - March 31, 2022 April 9, 2022 – March 31, 2023 The Champlain Basin Derby offers year-round fishing in any public lake, pond, and stream in the Champlain basin. Eligible species include: bowfin, brook trout, brown trout, carp, channel catfish, lake trout, landlocked salmon, largemouth bass, northern pike, rainbow trout, sheepshead, smallmouth bass, walleye, white perch, and yellow perch.

My father and I have been doing this derby every year since I was 6 ... I'm 32
now ... for the last 3 years my wife and father in-law have joined us on the This derby truly does great things for people. I have witnessed lots of
boat. It'’s something we look forward to every year. Whether we catch the big children having the times of their lives, adults seemingly relaxed and
