Basketball Camp
Mon-Thurs. only
Rising 1st - 4th Graders | Fee: $150 (class limited to 30 campers)
Coached by Mr. Travis Whetzel, this fun, coed camp focuses on learning and improving on the
fundamental skills of shooting, passing, ball handling, defensive techniques, and
teamwork. Skills will be taught through fun and challenging drills and team play.

STEAM Explorers
Rising 1st - 5th Graders | Fee: $260
Your child will have a STEAM-tastic time as they experience a taste of all that STEAM offers.
Learn about physical and chemical reactions with cool experiments. Program a robot to retrieve
and learn its secret codes. Make gummy worms from scratch and experiment to make the best
slime! Create using art and creativity. Explore motion, rocketry, and electricity through hands-
on, exciting fun. Daily engineering challenges utilize various materials to design, build and
create structures to meet a challenge. Don't miss this Adventure, Be a STEAM Explorer!

Journey Through the Rainforest
Rising K - 2nd Graders | Fee: $182.50 (min. 8 /max. 15 campers)
Did you know that 6% of the earth is covered by rainforest? Slither with us through this diverse
ecosystem as we explore animals, creatures, and the unique environment of the rainforest!
Conduct experiments and create crafts focused on life in and below the canopy.

That’s Gross!
Rising 3rd & 4th Graders | Fee: $182.50 (min. 8 /max. 15 campers)
Get your hands dirty and hold your nose! This hands-on camp will combine anatomy,
physiology, and chemistry to help better understand the way your body works. Make fake blood,
discover how sugar causes cavities, and find out why we burp. You’ll have your grown-ups
saying- YUCK!

Cooking with Chef Keith and Kayla
Rising K – 1st Graders | Fee: $325 (limit 6 campers)
Join us for this exciting one week cooking class with our Charleston Day’s very own Chef Keith
and Kayla! Students will have the opportunity to learn baking and cooking skills. The students
will concentrate on a new skill and masterpiece dish each day. (all costs included in price)

Lunch hour supervision is available between morning and afternoon sessions (12:00 - 1:00)
at a cost of $25 for the week. Each camper must provide their own lunch.

Multi-Sport Camp
Mon-Thurs. only
Rising 1st - 4th Graders | Fee: $150 (class limited to 30 campers)
Join Mr. Travis Whetzel for fun games and drills with multiple sports played each day. Campers
will learn the basic skills of a variety of sports along with offensive and defensive strategies
while also being taught self-confidence, fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Builders
Rising K - 2nd Graders | Fee: $182.50 (min. 8 /max. 15 campers)
Calling all inventors, creators, builders, and designers! Come build some awesome creations
with us! We will create our own designs and make structures using recyclable materials,
building blocks, and many other interesting items. Skills necessary… none! Skills gained:
communication, problem-solving, reasoning, developing creativity, and teamwork.

Up-Cycled Art
Rising 3rd – 5th Graders | Fee: $182.50 (min. 8 /max. 15 campers)
Up-Cycle ‘trash’ and recyclable materials into creative creations such as murals, decorative
containers, and wearable art. Let your creativity run wild, dream big, and help the environment
along the way as you stretch your artsy side.

Rock Band with White Key Studios
Rising 2nd - 4th Graders | Fee: $200
Charleston Day School and White Key Studios are teaming up to bring this rockin’ summer
camp to our campus! During this camp, students will form a band consisting of keyboards,
guitars, percussion, and vocals and play popular songs (and maybe even compose an original!).
Using professional equipment and instruments, our young musicians will get a taste of what it
means to be a real band member while expanding their musical education. No prior musical
experience required!

CDS Scavenger Hunt Camp
Rising K – 3rd Graders | Fee: $175 (min. 5 /max. 10 campers)
A five-day camp filled with activities that end with a scavenger hunt each day. Every day will focus
around a theme and will keep the children engaged and entertained, while learning about different
topics. This is a great opportunity for the children to learn about Charleston while incorporating
art, games and science activities. Students will spend most of the time on campus. Scavenger
hunts will all take place on campus or within a few blocks of Charleston Day School.

Join us for this exciting one week cooking class with our Charleston Day’s very own Chef Keith
and Kayla! Students will have the opportunity to learn baking and cooking skills. The students
will concentrate on a new skill and masterpiece dish each day. (all costs included in price)

American Girl Doll Camp
Rising 1st - 5th Graders | Fee: $250 (min. 5 campers/max. 12 campers)
In this American Girl Doll Camp, you and your doll will be “traveling” to France and England. We
will design items to make sure that your doll is ready to travel such as a suitcase, a purse, small
food items, a passport, an apron, etc. We will organize a tea party and finish the week by
sampling French macarons. Bring your doll every day and be ready to have some fun!

Lunch hour supervision is available between morning and afternoon sessions (12:00 - 1:00)
at a cost of $25 for the week. Each camper must provide their own lunch.

Design your very own fashion line with us! Budding designers will keep a fashion portfolio, create a one-
of-a-kind piece with recyclable goods and end the week with a Runway Show to rival Fashion Week! We
will participate in several design challenges too. Come design the runway with us!

World of Wizards

Calling all wizard fans! This is like no other camp you have experienced. We will take a magical
journey into the world of wizards. We will design wands, make magic potions, go on a magical
creature hunt, play Quidditch, and participate in activities that will astound all Muggles.

V.I.B.E
Rising 3rd & 4th Graders | Fee: $182.50 (min. 8 /max. 15 campers)
What’s your V.I.B.E? Find your voice, ignite your positive identity, build a sense of belonging,
and engage in your community. Participate in individual and group activities to develop these
important skills that will be with you for a lifetime. Catch your V.I.B.E.!

Hip Hop Dance with the Dance Conservatory of Charleston
Rising 1st - 4th Graders | Fee: $200 (class limited to 15 participants)
Watch your dancer’s confidence grow this summer in a fun and relaxed camp that encourages
individuality and stepping out of your comfort zone! While grooving to fun pop and hip hop
music, dancers will learn fun combos, hip hop tricks, and techniques. Join us for a performance
at the end of the week to see the skills your camper has learned!

Come make a splash with us on an adventure into the world below the ocean’s surface. Learn
about the creatures under the sea through crafts, games, and songs. Discover what makes the
ocean mysterious and special.

Science Palooza
Rising 3rd - 5th Graders | Fee: $207.50 (min. 8 /max. 15 campers)
Come discover, experiment, and create as we learn about the colliding worlds of art and science
in this STEAM-based camp. We will create biomes from around the world, star gaze at
constellations, master meteorology, investigate how things work, and dabble in chemistry and
physics. Put on your learning cap and grab the art supplies because this STEAM camp will rock
your world.

buildings and bridges, or plan a new roller coaster for your favorite theme park. Unleash your
inner art-chitect with us this summer.
