COLLECT RETURNS TO SOMERSET HOUSE A SAFE AND CELEBRATORY ENVIRONMENT. In 2020, Somerset House saw exhibitors curate their displays in dialogue with the architectural details of the exquisite neoclassical spaces. The mixture of grandeur and intimacy, the fireplaces, the wooden floors and the varying natural light throughout the days of the Fair is a pleasure we look forward to revisiting again. The presentation of leading contemporary objects in historic buildings is what sets Collect apart. It first launched at the Victoria & Albert Museum and then spent a decade in the prestigious Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea before moving to its new home at Somerset House. Somerset House, is a leading cultural venue in central London, perfectly placed for access from The City, The West End and across the capital. Like any large-scale event, Collect will adapt to ensure a comfortable, safe and enjoyable environment is achieved for our visiting guests, community of galleries and Fair partners. The Crafts Council will monitor government guidelines and work closely with Somerset House and key health and safety consultants throughout. COLLECT 2022 PAGE 7
