Severe Weather/Evacuations
In the event of severe weather, warnings, or lightning in the area, the public address announcer will direct
athletes to seek shelter in the Pond Student Union or on their team bus. Spectators should depart the
bleachers and seek shelter in Pond Student Union or vehicles. If severe weather or lightning becomes a threat
at Bartz Field, athletes and spectators should seek shelter in their vehicles or buses. Athletic Training will
determine when it is safe for competition to resume.

This link can also be accessed from the ISU Track and Field team’s championship webpage.
After the meet, members of the media and each school’s respective sports information director will be emailed
final results.
Photos from the podium and awards, as well as select action photos, will be uploaded to INFLCR. A link will be
distributed by Idaho State Sports Information prior to the events.
Heat Sheets
Heat/flight sheets will be emailed to coaches by the conference office. Heat sheets will also be available online
at the live results link above.
Scoring and Awards
Per NCAA regula ons, each event will be scored. Points for 1st through 8th place will be awarded as follows:
10–8–6–5–4–3–2–1.
The top 3 finishers will be escorted to the awards podium following the completion of the event. Medals will be
given to the top 3 finishers in each event.
In addition to the top event finishers, men’s and women’s performers will be recognized with the following
awards:
Most Valuable Athlete (Most points scored at Championship)
Outstanding Performer (Highest Nielsen Table Performance)
Freshman of the Year (Announced after returning from the championship)
Team Championship Trophy (Team with the most points)

FACILITY INFORMATION
Davis Field Specifics
Track Surface: 8 lane Beynon surface track with 34 meter radius turn. 42” wide lanes
Throwing Circles: Brushed Concrete
Long Jump: 150’ (55 meters) runway with 9’ takeoff board
Triple Jump: Women: 135’ runway with 36’ takeoff board
Men: 130’runway with 41’ takeoff board
Pole Vault: 150’ runway
Javelin: 114’
Preferred Lanes: Oval: 4‐5‐6‐3‐7‐2‐8‐1

Stadium Entry
All athletes, coaches, staff can enter via the northwest gate at the athlete entrance.
Creden als will be needed to enter the facility. Spectators will enter through the north entrance on Humbolt
Street. Spectator sea ng will be in the West Bleachers (the finish line side).
Ticket Prices
Adults: $7.00 per day 4‐Day Championship Pass:
Seniors and Children $5.00 Adults: $20.00
Students with student ID: $3.00 per day Seniors/Children: $15.00
Coaches Boxes
Refer to the facility map in the appendix for coach box locations. Coaches must have coaching credentials to
access coaches’ boxes.
Tents and Team Camps
Team camps and tents will be set up in the upper rows of the bleachers. Camps may be set up on the middle
and upper grass berms located at the east side of the track if preferred.
Dressing Rooms/Showers
There are no locker room facilities available at the track. Showers will be available on campus at the Holt
Arena. Please call Ben Scott (208‐892‐9976 or benjaminscott@isu.edu) to make shower arrangements if
needed.

Portable restrooms are located outside the northwest gate. Spectators may also u lize the outside restrooms
on south side of the fieldhouse. Portable restrooms will be available at Bartz Field for the hammer throw
compe on. Coaches and officials may also use restrooms inside Davis Fieldhouse.
Equipment Drop Off and Storage
Poles and implements can be stored in the equipment shed on the southwest corner of the facility.
Coaches’ Hospitality
The coaches’ hospitality area is located inside Davis Fieldhouse in the Gochnour Meeting Room. It opens at
9:00am on Wednesday and Thursday, and at 8:00am on Friday and Saturday. Food and beverage is on a first
come, first served basis. Hospitality area will be available to coaches, athletic trainers, and officials.
Championship credentials are needed to access Davis Field and the hospitality room.
TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING
Team Drop Off
Buses will be asked to drop off athletes west of the athlete entrance gate at Davis Fieldhouse. Buses will need
to enter the service road from 5th Street, which is a one‐way road. Buses will then be able to con nue up to
Holt Arena to park. Please see maps in the appendix for drop off and parking direc ons.
Parking at Davis Field
Parking for team vans will be available in the parking lot directly to the west of the Davis Fieldhouse. Team vans
will be required to display a parking pass in order to enter the team parking area. Parking passes will be included
in the team packet. Team buses will drop off athletes and park on the north side of Holt Arena (see map in the
appendix for direc ons). Free spectator parking will be available across the street in the main parking lot north
of Davis Field.
Parking at Bartz Field
Team and officials parking at Bartz Field will be directly adjacent to the hammer throw area, near the so ball
field. Only teams with parking passes will be allowed to park. Spectator parking is allowed along the road, both
above and below the hammer throw area. See Bartz Field map (appendix).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Academic Resources for Testing and Study Locations
ISU will provide assist in proctoring exams for student‐athletes in finals week. Please contact Niki Cook at
nikolecook@isu.edu to make specific arrangements. Depending on the need for technology or printing
services proper rooms will be assigned for tests. Study spaces are also available in close proximity to Davis
Field. Rendezvous Hall, Pond Student Union and Obler Library are available for student‐athlete use without
reservations.

Concessions will be available on site at the spectators’ entrance to Davis Field. Merchandise will also be
available for purchase on site at the north end of the spectator stands.
