2022 Adventure Awaits Us Sponsorship Packet Our MISSION is to engage lives through active living, compassion and dignity. Our VISION is to advance and enrich the lives of our residents, continuously adapting to a changing world while cultivating a community founded on the principles of selfless service.
Dear Community Partner, The eliseo foundation is delighted to host the inaugural 2022 Adventure Awaits Us auction and gala benefitting our senior residents and community. We invite you to partner with us at "A Night in Venice" to provide housing and care for those in our aging population. For more than 80 years, eliseo (formerly Tacoma Lutheran Retirement Community) has been a destination for those seeking to free themselves from the restraints of an ordinary retirement lifestyle. Our residents are the focus of everything we do—the sole reason for our existence as a senior living organization. It truly is as simple as that. We seek to make a positive, lasting impact on the people who rely on us for support and call eliseo their home. With more than 400 residents on our 28-acre campus, eliseo offers a full continuum of care, programs and housing for all stages of life. Our current construction project (slated to be finished by Spring 2023) will add an additional 91 independent living units as well as new amenities and facilities to our community. Through the generous support of donors like you, eliseo has never once had to ask a resident to leave because they can no longer afford to stay here. Please help us to continue our mission that we were founded on of serving any and all in need. This year, the eliseo foundation has set an ambitious goal to raise $100,000 at 2022 Adventure Awaits Us, which will directly benefit residents in our community. About Us
Who we are Total money raised by Year
The eliseo foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit
corporation organized exclusively for the benefit of eliseo. January - December
Governed by a volunteer board, the foundation was
established in 1986 for the purpose of raising funds for the $275,695
eliseo community and its residents. For more than 30
years, the foundation has been instrumental in securing $247,339
gifts for the development and expansion of facilities, the
purchase of new equipment and support for valuable
programs and services all with the intent to make life better
for residents.
What we do $144,621
Since eliseo first opened its doors in 1938, the pursuit to
offer quality health care and life plan options has remained
at the forefront for the Board of Trustees and eliseo
leadership team. We are a senior community where
residents find kinship, fun and belonging. We are the only 2019 2020 2021
not-for-profit campus in Tacoma that participates in
Medicare and Medicaid, while still offering a full spectrum
of quality care and services at an affordable price. Over In 2021, the eliseo
70% of our Health Center residents have outlived their
savings and rely on eliseo and Medicaid for their daily
foundation provided
